He’s absolutely correct; you set a goal, attach emotion to it and push through, and you will succeed. I wanted to eat a whole packet of chocolate biscuits, and I kept pushing and smashed the whole pack.
Ginger Floof
You big bastard. What an absolute monster KUUAAHH
Lmao
Hooaaahhhh
Lmfao!
That was great! I set my expectations high, aimed for a full packet but got half way through, just as Ollie said.
SAS Who Dares Wins 👍
Great respect gentlemen from 🇵🇱🕊️
#Military #Soldiers #Veterans #Respect
The quiet man, the grey man, absolutely unassuming and almost unnoticeable....the perfect SF operator
Glad he's on our side
Half of them are on TV 24/7 and churn out novels every 6 months. Most people could name more SAS/SBS operators than people who work at Tescos!
Ash Scott no words.
What u mean I dont get it are u saying u would never know who's in sas like they are ordinary people that would work in tesco
Ash Scott yeah you can name those Ones cause they are not in operations anymore really they are at the end of there service you can’t name the ones who are in right now
You'll notice every member of SF are very intelligent "switched on" individuals.
Of course they are.
Austin Powers was very "Switched on" also!
Thats why they call them the Thinking Soldier!
I've noticed that they are all genuinely nice guys from whom I could learn loads and who I would call friends.
Jesus the quintessential grey man ! he looks like a geography teacher but I bet he's hard as sin!
You don't need to bet, look in the eyes of these guys - they tell you all you need to know.
SBS in Australia is a TV channel lol, took me a while to figure out why they say it’s hard to get into SBS
I went to a talk by Andy Mcnab, and spoke to him briefly afterwards, and he gives off a very different vibe to Ant, Foxy and the others. He is a self-admitted and diagnosed good- psychopath (according to Kevin Dutton) and he certainly has that presence. He is extremely high-energy and seemingly without any negative emotions - everything is an adventure to him. He also does have the glassy-stare that psychopaths are said to have (apparently because they blink less than other people). I wonder what percentage of SF operators are like Mcnab and what percentage are more like Ant and co? Anyone got any idea?
Exactly this guy fucking said it.
He said 'if you put your mind to it you'll get pretty damn close'
I'm passionate about this and I am going to make it into a special force when I'm older.
I was with Recce Troop 42 Commando for many years back in the 60/70's.....scary at times.. but great memories..
Nice mate
Any tours?
listen to these people ,,the best teachers , mental ability and physical ,, xxx
Thank you/
read you book very honest ,, hope you will do another one xxx you educate us people great insight to your world xxx
İ did not enjoy the show at first,
but after listening to each of the leaders
it is clearer that İ agree more and more with their approach
Well done Mark. You've got it. Total respect.
Inspirational ! Just a regular dude .
Thanks for your kind words guys. Series 2 is out Monday 17h October 2016, channel 4 at 9pm
Louis James Hi Louis, they choose mate.
But they have to pass it by Chuck Norris first.
Are they doing anymore programmes in 2017???
Mat xo321 yes mate. it's been commissioned but I don't know the details yet. If they told me, they would have to kill me ;-)
SAS-R and SBS. Youve got to be fucking kidding me. What a beast!! :D
What a top man and amazing show can't Waite for the next show guys god bless you boys
"We're all limitless as humans we are, it's just our mind that create these limits" - Powerful
Why dont you fly then
@@gamebrain I think he regards to selection. As when you really badly want to quit but you dont. That selection i more mentally than physically.
I thought it was a good quote that can be applied to aspects outside selection aswell.
I love your interviews Mark. I'm still laughing about you and Billy in Cardiff
what a gent
What a nice bloke
Always found this guy really interesting. Just something about him I can't put my finger on. Despite both Jason and Ant being bigger and more aggressive looking, i'd still rather fight both of them over Mark. Obviously i'd rather eat shit than fight any of them, but my point is Mark has an aura of quiet danger about it
"Tell me about the most secret mission you ever went on..."
Avoiding capture training I thought lasted for 72 hours but instead it's 2 weeks! Bloody hell.
U Wot M8? Evade and escape
The interviewer should have asked more questions about the course. They were tested over eight days and the program only showed five one hour episodes! How much sleep did the candidates get in the eight days? how much more hill work did they do with heavy packs? what tests did they do that the program didn't show? I watched the series on here before it disappeared and there were scenes shown that weren't on the DVD. One example was the guy who did a beat box while being interviewed, but that isn't on the DVD. There was also a clip of the candidates doing runs, or marches with jerry cans. There must have been so much more that I really wanted to see or hear about in the interview.
Beat Box guy would have been great for moral when people needed a bit of cheering up. I wish he'd have said that.
Great point Steve, thanks for your feedback mate
Steve Austin all4 app
I guess if everyone knew it wouldn't be so secret or "as hard", meaning people will be able to prepare mentally and physically better so the element of surprise during selection won't be as surprising. If you see what I mean.
Steve Austin you can never replicate SFT training for wannabes on tv. It would be classed as abuse and could never be shown. Just like the old days when I was in before I retired, these days it’s totally different. I know the ex RSM of 264. He said so much has changed n he spent most of his time charging RMs who caused havoc down town. Probably hoping girls thought they where SAS. Fights used to go on all the time but the true tier 1 operators kept themselves to themselves in their own groups. The SAS or SBS would kick u out for one stupid action. The rule is if u get into trouble put the man down quickly n then leg it before police arrive 👍
Top guy
top man
Tell about the most secret mission you’ve gone on 😂😂😂
great show. When is season 2 going to be shown?
The C4 SAS team all put active SF service in, the likes of Bear Grylls didn't. Grylls had only just passed selection then injured his back doing his qualifying parachute jump that ended his SF career.
Lofty Wiseman (26 years SAS service, passed selection aged 18) does not approve of the Bear Grylls survival lessons. The Lofty Wiseman talks on here.
Did Ollie do SAS and SBS selection?
Col Bass Hi Col, yes mate
+Mark Llewhellin ..I'm.originally frm London, but live in the States..These guys are so unique..I would have liked 2hear hs thoughts on how they work and jell wth their Foreign colleagues...Different procedures.etc..
SBS selection is SAS selection and a few months of combat diver type training added on. if im not mistaken
Recently join either the SAS or SBS they pass the same selection process and then go deeper into their role after they join either the SAS or SBS, hope this helps.
William your wrong
What a legend!
Ollie is gorgeous ,I'm in love xx
I'm michael starts" what does that mean?
I'm curious why Ollie first attempted SAS selection when he was a Royal Marine.
He made the mistake of making civilian contact whilst doing SAS escape and evasion stage so was failed. He then attempted and passed SBS selection!
Why SAS first though?
Perhaps had it been a Norh Sea oil rig rescue rather than the embassy siege, the SBS would have had the fame and respect rather than the SAS! .......... both equally deserving in my opinion!
The selection is called SAS selection it's the same for bothe forces
@@Williamstanway
So selection for SBS is also referred to as SAS selection?
That seems an insult to the SBS which existed before the SAS!
Originally a single squadron, the SBS then created an additional three squadrons.
I just think its appropriate for the program to be SBS since 3 of the 4 DS are former SBS.
My favorite is the current series just because of the mountain scenery.
Wise Owl
All SBS operatives have to complete SAS first. They all train together, and once they have qualified as SAS then they can go into continuation training to be SBS, they’re not separate, SBS is just a continuation of regular special forces
@@rhysnichols8608
Thanks for the input Rhys, I wasn't aware of that.
If they progress on to SBS training after SAS selection, why was Ollie allowed to on SBS selection when he'd failed SAS selection?
Wise Owl
You can have 2 attempts at selection, he probably failed first time then passed the second.
Most special ops people like fun and don't like war but don't push them as they are well qualified to make sure the weak are protected from others that assume they are tough
They made Ant the main guy because he's dreamy.
wasilaify Ant is Hot. They are all Hot 💋💖💜
@@amandajaneweller9460 Typical woman. You wouldn't look twice at half of them if they were plumbers. All about status for you lot. Shallow.
Dreamy ? I'm pretty sure the guys he's topped wouldn't say that. Don't be deceived. Nice guys but ruthless killers when they have to be.
@@MajorTom6 what an ignorant moronic statement!!
@@fredbates3165 Funny guy....but, no you're wrong, and if you knew women as well as you think you do, you would agree. They're much more status driven when it comes to finding men attractive. It's well known and well documented. :-)
wheres the interview with ant? xD
There used to be a clear distinction between SBS & SAS , the SB guys were all Bootnecks and SBS was part of the Royal Marines. These days Its all been watered down and SBS is far removed from its Bootneck origins.
Jazzflute NON Boot necks are Royal Marines, don't understand you,,,,,,
+Jazzflute NON
There is still a clear distinction. What you seem not to know is that in 1987 the then Royal Marine Special Boat Squadron - motto "Not by Strength, by Guile - (originally formed in 1940 as the Special Boat Section) was renamed The Special Boat Service and responsibility for the unit transferred to the Royal Navy. The motto was changed to "By Strength and Guile". There has been no "watering down" - where on earth did you get that idea? As Ollie confirms, SBS candidates firstly have to pass the SAS selection course before have to successfully complete months of amphibious warfare training. What "watering down" do you believe has taken place???
As I understand, even though the SBS is open to all 3 services it's still made up mainly of booties. I know of two army blokes personally who went for poole rather than Hereford. I'm more interested in if SAS boat troop is still in business, considering Hereford and Poole seem to work together more closely these days
Does anyone know what watch it is that Ollie is wearing in this?
Zac Stevens might be a suunto traverse watch
Ggghbb
And upstairs Tony Soprano just got shot
Crypto Uncle good reference
I love sas selectiom nobody fro the sas looser selection would be more actually ttuthful
IS COMENT WE NEVER FELL OUT ON AET IS A JOKE TBH
Yet nothing is known of the SRR. Nothing.
Climb ladders and swim
Is this fake?I thought being special forces was NOT something you bragged to everybody?
They are ex-servicemen so done there bit, just can't talk about actual operations they did. Official secret act. Etc
To say we are all limitless as humans is nonsense. Sorry. Everyone of us has their limits. Some people can win Olympic golds, and others do not have a hope in a million years. Selfbelief helps, but some people are more skilled or talented than others.
Celebrity is everywhere just stay in the back ground.
Ant plays a very arrogant arm commander. thumb down.
FAIL SIMPLE
IF SOMONE YA WERE TRAING DID A N INERVIEW LIKE THS WHAT QOULD YA SAY DO ?
These lads cashing in .... though there was an honor within special forces that you keep your mouth shut.
I flew through selection then I realized I was SIKH! Fk, all this bullshit! Lets try being Human, Life thats... selection ! LOL!
Love Our SBS & SAS 💖💜
What a gent
