To be fair the time they didn't make playoffs I beleive they had 100 points West was stacked. He's good,but not a Superstar player. 60 point player is good, not great in today's hockey.
If he was healthy this season all year he'd be on pace for 89 points as a 2 was forward, pretty good and elite if you tell me. Look at his stats in playoffs last season
He would score more if he didn't focus on playing a two way game he's a start an absolute difference maker
And yet I’m still happy he is gone. Jack went to a cup ready team while Buffalo needs time to develop their young roster.

@@jahimjauh-hey5653 Hasek played for Buffalo from like 92 to 2000. He left and went to Detroit and won a Cup. He was there before Miller got there and was a HoF goalie etc. So it's been forever for Buffalo.

i am sorry but i must disagree. he is who we thought he was. eichel is only as good as the team he is on. when he was in buffalo, a team with very little depth, he was mediocre. now that he is in vegas, a team with a ton of depth, he is better than good, not exceptional
... he was like 5 points short of PPG player on horrible Buffalo tean. If you think he's "just" good, you are watching Vegas with your eyes closed.
