@@uthopia27 I think at that time Germany had only 2A5 and every nation beside Italy had a ~480 pen APFSDS at best. Ariete had ~620 with insane post pen performance. But it was balanced in a way that Ariete was second slowest and worst protected top MBT, so it was still a skill relying vehicle. But then snail added new top shells for most MBTs and also nerfed Italian top shell. And that's how Ariete became useless: why would anyone play "slow Leopard 2 wannabe with no armor" when there is Leo 2A6, M1A2, T-80BVM and stuff like that?

@@atoprime3184it’s a tandem warhead currently very little Era/ composite/ spaced armor work well against it the Javelin has tandem warhead as well. The best thing to do is not get hit these missiles will knock out any tank that doesn’t have an active protection system that can intercept them before impact.
Ofcourse ATGMs has bigger penetration, for example SPIKE LR has 1000m, but the difference is that ATGMs travel at speeds of aproximetly 200m/s while APFSDS travels at speeds of 2000 m/s

@@Prowamfordihno yeah and having taken low BR vehicles to high tier, I can tell you, you need at least 80-100mm of penetration. MBT’s have so much spaced armor, spaced crews and even spawl liners that you can’t see in the X-ray

@@arem3823 I was talking about the naming conventions of German tank rounds. DM, which means: "Deutsche Modellbezeichnung" (German Model Number) and then the number 1 because this round will be brand new, it's the first variant of 130mm APFSDS. The next number depends on the type of ammunition, for APFSDS rounds that is the number 3. The reason the KF51 will use a new round is because it has a 130mm diameter cannon not 120mm, meaning it can't fire any of the rounds you mentioned due to the smaller diameter of those rounds, hence the new round, probably called DM13 or some variation of that. Though the Bundeswehr may add something to the name or change it in some way to avoid confusion.
The reason why the Type-10 has a shell named Type 10 is because its meant only for said tank.
The charge inside that shell is so damn much compared to other 120mm shells, that if you put it inaide another tank's breach, it'll break it from the sheer force.
No, the number after the "type" is the year it came into service, so both the tank and the shell came into service in 2010, this applies for all tanks, even WWII. But back then they used a different calendar rather than the Gregorian which is the one we use

So the best shell in the game actually isn't on the wiki, but it's on the firing range tutorial in which you gotta snipe targets at a distance with a panther II, it has a special shell that pierces 850mm of armor!

I love as a British main most other tech trees get there advanced shell and the British just get a shell a generation behind the rest.
But yet they won't let Germany have their dm63 or dm 83 round that has over 800 and the other over 1000mm of pen because it's game breaking

The tanks didn't move after being struck, started burning and their crews did not leave those are pretty good indications of said tanks being destroyed.
Hamas cuts the video only after the strikes were made and the damage was observed.
Also satellite images show that 23% of the false states vehicles were taken out within 5 days many of which were in fact tanks.

The Tanks didn't move in the video since they are obviously checking if there are damaged modules and if the crew is okay and still operating. And burning on the outside doesn't mean equal to being destroyed since it's obviously the molten hot copper of the rpg failing to penetrate the armor thus emitting flames, and merkava tanks are equipped with fire extinguishers and tightly air locked so it is absolutely impossible to identify that it is burning from the inside by only using your eyes also if a tank crew isn't leaving after a hit it is basically a clear indication that it means they are still alive and operating inside the tank properly, and the actual indication of a tank is getting destroyed are if the crew is quickly exiting out the tank since it means that an uncontrollable fire has taken over inside or the ammunition rack is about to explode or a massive internal explosion in the tank which caused the turret blow up which are not present even a single one of hamas terrorists propaganda videos.

This is technically wrong because, The m1a2 and leopard 2a5 both use L44s and the m1a2 pens more than the 2a5 with the same gun, the 2a6 pens more because of its extended barrel, If the m1a2 had the extended barrel it would pen more, Therefor m829A2 is the highest pen round in the game, The 2a6 is the highest pen tank in the game not including ATGMS

M829 is a DU penetrator. Penetration should be higher and against angle, it eats them up easily. Lastly the post penetration is a one shot as molten DU is spewed inside causing massive internal fire and vapourizatipn

Actually the M829A2 is the highest penetrating round in the game right now. The Leo2A6 fires the same DM53 round as the Ariete or the Leo2A5, but with a longer gun. So technically the Leo2A6 has the best gun (highest penetration), but the round itself, the M829A2 is the best.
