Awesome video!! I’ve used Milwaukee and Dewalt for a while and I have to say when I got this new Impact from Craftsman I was highly impressed. It’s currently my favorite to go to and the build quality is top tier. It is one of the most comfortable impacts I’ve held and feels amazingly balanced in the hand even in a full days worth of work. I highly recommend taking advantage of the deal currently going for the Holidays at Lowe’s and grabbing the combo kit with the new drill/driver. The new drill/driver is a powerhouse in itself. My only wish is that the Impact had the tri LEDs but for the value/power I wouldn’t let that scare away from grabbing it. Also this drill is in the Pro range and I use is daily for engineering and electrical work. Again great video and happy to see someone else enjoy the new impact.
@ love it, the new compact drill driver that comes with the new impact is also really great. I’m liking the direction craftsman is taking even if it’s just utilizing DeWalts guts. Got love for red tools haha
I started buying only Craftsman because Dewalt is rebranding its tools with the craftsman brand craftsman tools are Dewalt rebranded tools and I would rather save money on my tools with the same specs as the Dewalt tools. Stanley is going to make sure craftsman holds up on its own
@Sam-r5v5i not on an impact driver. On a drill speed 1 has more torque. On impacts with speed selectors like this, speed 3 is the highest torque. Speed 1 would be for more precision driving and fastening
Same, but like the DCF899 vs. CMCF940: One of the ways they distinguish DeWALT vs Craftsman is by changing the LEDs. They did the same between the DCS438 and CMCM300 3” cut off tools (also made the guard/dust collector non-removable).
Thank you for posting! Been waiting on a review of this
About time I’ve been waiting for this video for a long time. Nice job

@PhantasmAudio check out my review for the new hammer drill I did 2 weeks ago. Beastmode!

U only did speed 3? Wouldn’t speed 1 have more power?

Strange design that looks a bit like an impact wrench
looks almost like the dewalt dcd845
It lost that overmold because it lost the ring light.
@@emmettturner9452 i still would have liked the overmold
