i am a many tool brand, mainly dewalt user, but i dont get upset at anything really , except when i have to visit relatives in siberia.. i mean the great lakes...
I completely agree with you on the recipe saw. I'm glad they made a new one but it's missing a lot of features found on more modern saws. No orbital No adjustable shoe No rafter hook No variable speed dial
Hope that router uses the dewalt locking hose attachment. I didn't even know they made that. Once I got it, my life was sooo sooo much better. I hate the gov't, but they should mandate a law that every tool have a common adapter.
10:50 best thing about plunge base compared to other brands…..how easy it’s to lock in place & unlock w/o moving hand from left trigger grip as just flick lever w/ thumb or finger……& I only own 4 DeWalt tools; but that feature it has wish all other brands had that ease of use, b/c they do have lever but brand I have I must left hand off grip or use opposite hand to lock, also, just feels nice. Do prefer diff brand router, but this about DeWalt ☺️ Edit: reason why chose other brand, the ability to really fine tune exact depth stops to diff depths as they use diff system from DeWalt, & if DeWalt had that system, I’d own 5 DeWalt tools
I think they don't add the orbital for the same reason Milwaukee has 2 levels of Fuel sawzalls. The Fuel Super with orbital, and Fuel without but smaller & lighter. So not every other saw has it, due to trying to minimize size. I think showing a comparison against orbital & non-orbital would should be shown.
I’m so happy I bought my Dewalt cordless tools between 2018-2020 I saved so much money and got free batteries with most of my tools. The best deal was an atomic oscillating tool with a 5.0 battery for 120.00
I have 5 routers, had five, now six. I justified buying the new dewalt because I was sick of using the circle jig and the power cord kept tangling up with the dust collection hose. The router is almost flawless. One livery small thing is the inability to use guide bushings accept for the 30mm one they supply and you screw in. I don’t use them much and aftermarket universal bases are cheap
The router is 99.99 percent perfect the only thing I see missing is a fine height adjustment when doing pattern bits or edge profiles I will buy one in spite of
One on the saw would be cool b/c I'm looking at buying one and I have Dewalt stuff already. Have you done a video on Milwaukie tools ? My work has them and they seem great. Thanks.
If you could only pick one 18-20V line for all your tools… Dewalt XR or M18 Fuel… which would you pick in terms of reliability? Seems like Milwaukee has electronics and trigger issues?
They really don't care...and their cases and containers are ridiculously expensive and you throw the tool in and it just clatters and slides around because in that ridiculous cost they couldn't other to design the cases with movable partitions for all their tools, or have that foam stuff in them to be able to customize those boxes.
Dewalt's prices have gone up way too high for their quality or lack of, and the lackluster performance....every other tool brand seems to have left Dewalt in the dust....Dewalt keeps screwing with battery platforms, and tool branding nonsense and forgot they're supposed to be building quality high performance tools not be changing tool branding names and designs to cover up their lack of performance and quality. I had a lot of Dewalt 18V, 20V, and a few of the Flexvolt tools....sold all that stuff earlier this year, plenty of other choices out there with better performance, and less expensive batteries and accessories.
I think they're priced about the same anymore at least that's what it seems at Home Depot in my area, the red and yellow tools are about the same price....and it seems like Home Depot is pushing more towards the red tools, tons of Milwaukee stuff, even a lot of the Milwaukee storage boxes out in the isles, less stuff from Dewalt. I sold all my Dewalt stuff earlier this year, got tired of the ridiculous prices and lackluster performance, and they keep redoing their tool line but they don't seem to boost the performance and quality on anything, they just raise the prices and call it a new tool, that they just change the model number on from time to time but its still a 10+ year old tool.
New DeWalt tools are terrible, in particular the mitre saws. Their impact driver was always shite. I never liked Dewalt and I never will. Milwaukee are even worse, their gen 4 has been a disaster. I had all Milwaukee tools and got rid of them. Hikoki/Metabo HPT alll the way. You can always rely on them and very ergonomical.
@stephenfanthorpe2708 Every tool is good for the first few months after it was bought. Wait until it has some work done, then tell me how good it is. Dewalt releasing limited edition "McLaren" models is so cringe and makes me see them as even more of a joke than I already do. It comes across as a desperate attempt to make up for a drop in sales. Such a cheesy promotion gimmick you would see for childrens toys, akin to the "Milwaukee Truck Tour", clearly targeted towards naieve Americans🤣 I'm quite insulted to be honest, do these big tool companies think we're 4 year olds or something?
@ Yea okay but unfortunately the real world doesn’t work like that, it is despite your yellow cheesed assumption far superior than a lot of impacts I’ve used including my makita’s common we aren’t 5 lol your mum isn’t going to tell me your right because you said so and you’ll cry if I say otherwise 😂.like or dislike them it’s still facts . Should go try one 1st then check back in.
@@stephenfanthorpe2708 How do you think I know what the story is with Dewalt tools? Im looking at them every day. Fangirling for a brand is no use when you're sending them all back to be fixed.

Right.

I’ve been waiting decades to see an orbital action reciprocating saw. It’s about bloody time somebody made one!
We wanna see the hammer drill and router for sure. Great job and thanks for the video. 👍🏻
This is the first video I’ve ever seen from this guy and the opening line sold me. I’m in! Idk where we are going but I’m in!
Buckle up brotha! 😎👊👊👊
I hope this video gets enough views so you can afford heat in your garage
@@robertdascoli949 me too!!!

I really want to see a deep dive on that sweet sweeet router

TRZ this new Dewalt router looks mint. I don’t even need it but I want to come up with a project to justify purchasing it. Real nass like! 👍

Great job. LOVE that router. By far my favorite router I own. It's "real nice like"
Ive always wondered why no 1 ever brought up dewalt never having a orbital action on the battery recips
Please do a full video on all of these cool tools! Thanks
Kid from work had a brand new saw zaw and same as your impact, nothing. Straight outta the box it was no beauno.
Looks like I need to change to Dewalt, except for the hammer drill
Never had great luck with the hand tight chuck on their drills. Definitely blade left saw, I’m right handed as well. Great fun review.
The router is 99.99 percent perfect the only thing I see missing is a fine height adjustment when doing pattern bits or edge profiles I will buy one in spite of
Clint maybe your supplier has a man crush on you from the old man cologne?😄

24v
I have a mixed of milwaukee m12 m18 dewalt and ryobi
Makita are cheap enough you can buy multiple and always use a new one
And, they still haven’t given any thought to whether or how their tools fit in their Tough System containers. Wake up DeWalt.

That is a long support handle-why is longer than everybody elses?
Some ladies like it longer. They say it's "real nice like"
Lol
It was real nice like seeing the evil twin. I love that Dude
I'd like to see more router 😊
Deadwalt musk killed the drill.🤣
the router would like a review.
Thanks again Clint!!!
I love the impact , drill and router the rest are just re dos, but regardless that’s real nasssssssssssss like . 😊
