What Kind of Anchor Do I Need for Brick? (I tested 5)

  • In this video I tested 5 different anchors in brick. This is not to give you a final verdict about which one is the best, but is more to give you an idea of what kind of anchor you might need for your project. For example you don't need an anchor that'll pull over 1000 pounds to hang up something small! Or you wouldn't want to use an anchor that can only hold 75 pounds to hang up something heavy duty and important! Many of these will work well in concrete as well. Most of the anchors worked well in brick with two exceptions. That one didn't work very well at all...

    Rudy, you know I love your stuff, but showing how much weight can be held up by a fastener while barefooted is priceless. My preference has always been the sleeve bolt also. Huge thumbs-up, my friend.
