  • This is the Sene Soho Flex Tech Suit by Sene Studio. Its custom made similar to made to measure. It's a travel suit that is able to do something that I haven't seen on any other suit. This is one of the easiest suits to wear if youre not used to wearing a suit or don't like wearing suits. Check out this link for more info on Sene Studio Suits: bit.ly/SeneSuits-THEDADBOD

Thank you. I have another review of Sene coming fairly soon. Bomber jacket, jeans, T-shirt, dress shirt, and another suit. Suit should be here in a week or two and I’ll do the review fairly soon after that.

Good review. I appreciate the helpful info.
Some questions. 1- Did they provide you the suit, or did you purchase it on your own?
2- Regarding the tailoring / fitting process. Is it your impression that most men require the suit to be re-tailored... or will it work out on the first try? Also, are shipping costs covered if it needs to be re-tailored and adjusted?

I purchased it on my own. The only contact I’ve had with them (aside from the tailoring help) was after I did the video, they commented on Facebook saying they enjoyed the video.
Every custom made suit I’ve ordered (and custom shirt) required a remake. You could get lucky and it fits perfect at first. But after they make adjustments, they update your size profile and everything else should fit fine right off the bat.
Yes, shipping is included. I didn’t have to pay anything for the remakes.

which do you like better the Sene or X suit?

    • @TheDadBod

      Hard choice.
I like that XSuit had a more formal option. I heard sene is working on making one soon. But the suit is dry clean only.
I love that Sene is made to measure where XSuit is not.
XSuit has had issues when I ordered and several comments corroborated, XSuit has inventory and logistics issues. You might order and get exactly what you want. Or you could get the wrong size, wrong color, wrong type. And then you find what you want is on back order and you end up waiting months.
So, sene is a better option to me. More reliable, made to measure so better sizing. I’m waiting on a new sene suit to do a suit, shirt, polo, jeans review.

Given all those changes, it sounds like it was a complete miss/mess. If you are already providing your inseam and waist, how in the world can they come back with a pants that's too big and too long?

Dunno. But I’ve got another video coming soon for Sene suits and clothing. Waiting on the suit to arrive.

What is most important to you in a suit? How formal it looks, range of motion? Or customizability? And how soon do you need it?

@@TheDadBod say i habe 2 months and I like range of motion and comfort but don't wanna be judged for wearing a "athletic stretch" suit

No. XSuit is much better. More structured.
