Zoe, I have a question! If you want to be a fashion illustrator, and sell prints of other people's designs, is that copyright? Like I'm not selling the design, but technically I'm profiting from it, so would that be an issue? Say I drew a picture of something I saw on a runway and sold the prints of it, do companies and designers have beef with that?

I just went “dream shopping” at Chanel a few days ago and I saw that Hong Kong stitch inside a dress. It looked so nice. Also Belu should have her own channel. She explained it better than ANYONE!
Belu did a fantastic job explaining how to construct the seams. She even gave pointers on how to handle the fabric as it moves through the stitching process... I find those tricks to be the most helpful and the biggest "secrets" that never get taught! THANK YOU! I'd love more content like this.

Love this I’m a self taught sewer and love to learn all the techniques especially from experts in the industry. I love your channel Zoe and absolutely loved discovering Belu too thank you for all you do . 👏👏👏
As a professional Seamstress with her own business I was encouraged to see such a good video for those wanting to learn. After 40 years sewing and designing I learned you can you your regular sewing foot to make rolled hems. I have always used a rolled hems foot. Well done.
I love that zoe is dedicated to educating us. It was so nice to see that she has guest teachers. She teaches us form her knowledge and get other experts to teach their knowledge
I've been sewing for 40 years... And I got more practical sewing tips from this 18 minute video then just about any other tutorial. Thank you thank you.
Zoe, Think of me as your 65 year old student who's sewn and designed for at least 40 years. Your videos are fantastic. I always get something new out of everyone you produce. Belu's video was great. I love hearing another person's perspective on how to do a specific seam type, as well as the actual "how-to's" and application notes. I would love to see her do more. Thank you both ladies!
Thank you Zoe, for inviting Belu Chi to demonstrate these seams. Belu Chi thank you for describing and demonstrating, with such clarity, the various seams. Also, I cannot express the gratitude that I felt when you were describing how to manage the fabric while sewing. I have had those very same issues while using the rolled hem foot. Much continued success in your endeavor to codify seams, in a universal manner, by writing your book: "101 Sewing Seams"! Zoe, again, a special thanks to you for continuing to share your experience and knowledge by presenting and sharing your "world" with us, the RUclips viewer! I am very grateful!
Thank you Zoe for sharing! I’ve been sewing about 55 yrs with not formal training. When you said 3 advance seams I first got scared then I said, “Vern, no one is going to grade you. What do you have to lose?” I am black and I live in Washington DC. I learned to sew because I want shopping with my mother every week at places like Sak 5th Avenue and Lord & Talyor. The year I started high is the same year the high school trade schools closed. So my class was Sak and Lord & Talyor. I thought I was doing the first 2 seam wrong. They weren’t wrong. It just that one technique is for one situation and another for another situation. WoW!!! I learned sooooooo much!
"no one is going to grade you. What do you have to lose?” What a great approach! And yes, there are a lot of different sewing techniques that work for different purposes.
I NEVER comment on anyone's video. I would absolutely subscribe if Belu had her own channel. Zoe, I LOVE your instruction and style of teaching! The content is excellent and is helping me take my skills to the next level. I'm a home sewist (not sure that is a term), my kids are almost all grown up and I want to and have time to get serious about my sewing. People have seen creations I've made for my kids and ask me if I would sew for them or have product for sale. I haven't had the confidence in my work to really put myself out there. I'm learning a lot and also see that I know more than I thought. I love sewing and creating! This journey is exciting and a little scary, but I love it!

I can not believe it but ABC 101 seams book arrived at my home this morning. Have been going through it for most of the day. It is suitable for beginners and experienced sewers. Am really pleased with it. 😊😊
Thank you! I've fumbled around with a rolled hem foot, but getting the right amount of fabric was guesswork. Now I have a clear guideline to follow. I'm looking forward to trying again.

I've been sewing for over 40 years and I never learned how to do the Hong Kong seam. Thanks for the video I always say that there's something new to learn.
On the Hong Kong seam placing the fashion fabric on top when sewing following the previous seam line makes it so perfect, on all the other videos they place the binding on top. Thank you ☺️

Fantastic video and excelent explanation, all three seams are aplicable to many garments! I also like that she used a Home Sewing Machine instead of the Industrial one since so many people get focused on getting the Industrial one, in the end its about learning and perfecting the craft of Sewing. Thank you Ms. Zoe Hong for sharing this very useful tutorial, love the dark lip color too!
Thanks you for the wonderful tips. I have seen the Hong Kong stitch applied in other techniques. When I was in college for fashion and textiles, we were taught to ad the bias to the end of each piece, then sew the seam and press it open, without sewing the seam edge and binding to the garment. I think this was more for very tailored items. For example, we had a serger, but we were first taught the rules of tailoring so as to hide and/or minimize the visibility of any seam. Thank you so much, very helpful. I stumbled on this channel for the first time today. I had to do a bias neck binding today. I did it wrong. I knew something was wrong but I didn’t know what. Now I know.

Hi, this is my first time on your channel. Yes I think she should have he own channel. I would watch her.
Very good tutorial.
I love the explanation and visual demonstration with contrasting colors. It helps a lot. I'm definitely a beginner but enjoying all my little projects
Thank you. Very useful sewing methods
Thank you for this video! She is an excellent educator, and should totally have her own channel! I learned so much from this video, and I can't wait to practice!
I loved this video and yes, Belu would be a welcome'd addition to the YT community! I've always shy'd away from rolled hems (slippery fabrics!) and Belu made it look so easy with her techniques. Thank you!
WOW thanks for a wonderful tutorial!❤
Thank you for a well-explained tutorial. Greetings from Sri Lanka.

Third hem starts similar to quilt binding. Great video!
I guess it was seam before #3 using bias tape . . .
I love your video! I'm a short course dressmaking student. But since the pandemic happened, we had to stop classes. I use RUclips as my online school program. Your videos keep me company. Also, I don't have a serger at home so your videos are super helpful. Thanks! Keep it up 💕
Thank you. So helpful.
Great tutorial. Thank you. Stay safe. 🌲🌝☘️
Thank you so much, very helpful. I stumbled on this channel for the first time today. I had to do a bias neck binding today. I did it wrong. I knew something was wrong but I didn’t know what. Now I know.
