That's true during Obama's administration he didn't help us but instead he said that America can not back up the Philippines. Obama said that they will not go to war to defend the Philippines that's the reason why China was able to continue their reclamation within the Philippines territory. The Philippines have always gone out of their way to be a genuinely loyal and friendly ally to the United States, and they will continue to do so because it's in their heart to do so. The Philippine people still love America, they always will. America is truly an amazing nation. The problem is this, it is blatantly obvious that the Philippines has been mistreated, exploited and neglected by it's Western allies, so the problem is not with the Philippines, she simply wants to be treated fairly and given the dignity of respect, not disrespected and bullied. Thank you, and it’s not entirely the fault of the people of America that they hated him, they were taught to hate him by the media and entertainment industry slandering him making him out to be the villain. Some people look with their eyes and vote based on what they see on the outside and others vote with their ears and vote based on what their government tells them, of course these people don’t trust the government blindly so the government speaks through idols the people admire and media sources the people believe they can trust and they use their pride as Americans against them so that when what the government said through those the people trusted is proven wrong by what people are seeing around them they refuse to accept it because that would mean they were wrong for trusting those people in the first place and for believing those were their own ideas and not just talking points being parroted by them and an American because of their pride never likes to admit they’re wrong and because of their sense of freedom they never admit they are being manipulated both make them angry, they reject reality and in doing so allow corruption to flourish due to misplaced pride and the inability to conceive reality.

It all stems from the countless betrayals that usa did to PH. First was after the Spanish war, after fighting spain for decades the Filipinos are tired and weary then the americans came and invaded the country. Second betrayal was on World War 2 when the japanese invaded, Filipino leaders was assured by roosevelt that reinforcements will arrive but it never came. Philippines was used as a shield for Australia where the us pacific forces were hiding but FiIipinos kept on fighting even when outnumbered and outgunned while their villages are being razed. Third betrayal wasnt really against Philippines but on Filipinos who were proclaimed American citizens as they were called on to fight for them in WW2. After the war they were stripped of the benefits allocated for a war veteran and it took half a century for them to get what is rightfully theirs while most of the members have died already. Not to mention the multiple attempts of the CIA to put a leash on the national government.
