I remember when these showed up at the range several archers had drilled a hole in their riser to install these. I did note some would adjust them while at the range. Later I would note some of them would also use a mechanical release while using their recurve.
With all respect to the author. I personally have neither met nor heard of a man who twists his plunger to adjust for the wind. The plunger is set for the arrow set stiffness, not for any other reasons. Barebow archers may give it some adjustment in order to compensate draw length (i.e. draw weight) difference at different distances.

Thanks! Best explanation of plunger use I've ever seen.
Thank you for the information, very informative. I like shooting off the shelf but on my Das dx5 l have a bolt that adjusts and a felt pad
Perfect video!

Then I guess you don’t know many archers. I seen several high level archers make adjustments while on the line.
Love this guy videos
That is pretty cool.
Uhura...Star Trek...BWAHAHAHAHA! GOOD one, man!
Hey Greg, does it come with instructions? (Lol just kidding).
Would you ever use it for hunting?
Many do. What it does is help you fine tune your gear. Once tuned, you really do not have to play with it.
