@ As an engineer I do not see any reasons my Lyriq will last less than any other electric car on the market. In addition, I do not see any reason an electric car will last less than a comparable ICE vehicle. Especially considering that electric cars have less failure prone mechanical cal assemblies as well as the fact that more and more cars are being made with smaller highly stressed turbo engines.

Gorgeous interiors, but the exteriors are terrible looking. This is even coming from a GM guy. Boasting that Cadillac sold over 147,000 vehicles last year in the US is actually nothing to brag about. In the 1970's, a typical year saw over 350,000 Cadillacs sold each year from 1970 through the end of 1979. I believe that 1979 was its greatest production record year. They no longer build actual Cadillacs. That's why.

The last Corvette was built in 1972, as far as I am concerned. After the early 1990's, they began to take on a Warner-Brothers cartoon look to them, such as the latest models. They've tried too hard to look "exotic" and "European." Now, they are just plain ugly and are extremely way overpriced to the max. I'll take a Shelby Cobra over a GM Corvette any day of the week. Plus, Shelby's are much more powerful than Corvettes. Higher resale value than Corvette. A fact that doesn't set too well for Corvette owners. Corvettes wreak of Aqua Velva and gold chains, mostly driven by mid-life-crisis men.

FYI......The XT5 and XT6 are compact SUV'S, as is the Acura built here. Cadillac only builds one large truck, the Escalade, which is built in Arlington, Texas.
