Dodge Ram 2500 Clicking or clunking noise by transmission Problem Solved!!!

Mine just started making that exact noise…..I thought throwing new u-joints everywhere would fix it…..nope……..but that makes sense to me …..thank you for this video….I will let you know if it fixes my 2008 4x4 cummins 6.7

I put a anchor trans mount on my 06 it’s soft garbage knew better but did it anyways ordering a mopar

What year is the truck? I have a 2013 and the noise is identical to this. Kind hard to tell exactly where your at in video, transfer case mount?

Hey there it’s a 08 but I think the 13’s use the same transmission mount but yes it’s the transmission mount 👍 thanks

Hi no that’s a different problem probably u-joints if you can take driveshaft off and check the play in u-joints if has play good all around good but if it’s kinda hard really no play then u-joint is bad, unless your tires are bad different story but I would check u-joints first from transmission or transfer case to rear differential. 👍

Play 2004 dodge ram 2500 van is not going in reverse it was fine and now it’s making some kind of clicking noise it won’t go in reverse can you please tell me what do you think it is is it to pump

Try checking driveline, my 2nd gen ram needs driveline work and it bumps when i let off the gas so i dont drive it. Most likely u joints on the driveline needing replaced

does this only happen when you change from drive to reverse? mine makes the same sound but at regular intervals

It can happen in any gear check motor mounts too , have a friend turn it on and if the motor moves that could cause that problem too. 👍
