Awesome video Brad ! Everything looked so good !! I've never had Pompano before , can't wait till I can come down there and catch some blue crabs and Pompano myself . Have a great Memorial Day!!
Thanks dude! Pompano is awesome and probably fun to catch. Looking forward to your visit. Thanks for watching. A real Chef/outdoorsman dream- Come to Florida and catch your ingredients lol
That made my mouth water. The only thing I would have done different would have been to melt some butter in the baking dish and brushed it on the Ponpano before baking. Winner winner stuffed Pompano dinner😋😋😋😋😋😋
Thanks for the idea!! I’ll definitely do this. I should have known better- a little butter always kicks it up. Thank you for watching and for the support. Make sure you try it out! It’s the best!
What’s up my brother. Good eats and I’m thinking about using a little combo in the next go around. Maybe pompano and pogey. Plus I was experimenting on the other side of the river. I think the side I set on was not as good. I’ll try again. Stay tuned! Thanks again dude!
Hi Brian, Near goodland, San Marco rd has a canal on either side, I’ve crabbed there. Didn’t do great and you can watch the earlier video about blue crabbing in Marco. Maybe 3-6 crabs so it was a pretty weak catch, but that’s a starting point. That was the best I could figure out during a couple days visit. Good luck!
@@How_I_Caught_Crabs do you think the Bay Area would be a better option? Like where the channel markers are at? I’m new to crabbing and just trying to get a gauge on where would be best to place these. Thanks
I just don’t know. I still haven’t figured out the gulf coast, especially southwest Florida. I want to try tons of spots but I am limited to the paddle distance on my kayak plus I don’t live there. If you can zip around on a boat, I’d say drop traps near the mouth of any of the brackish estuaries that dump into the gulf and the little bays all over, I bet you’d do well. It’s very shallow out there that is also not my specialty. Let me know where you end up
Looks great Brad! Appreciate the catch and cook vids 🎉
Thank you! It was amazing
