Well I'm glad it worked for you sir. Mine just flipped upside down and went into some funky rainbow colors. Plus it now says Magnavox when you turn it on, which btw is only by turning it on in the back because it wont recognize the remote anymore. Good thing i got the insurance on it because Walmarts so called customer service sucks. Emerson will be here tomorrow to fix or refund my money. Some black friday deals are too good to be true...
Screen broke in between moving any replacements for this tv? Since Emerson no long exists
went from an old plasma tv to this one...price was 218 on black friday in 2014....kept it in the box in the garage until the 50 inch plasma started to go out (2008)... JUST unboxed it and fired it up...everything works great and the extra connection options are a +... sounds great with a new Vizio sound bar... My only complaint is the picture looks a little washed out compared to the old Samsung plasma... been monkeying with the settings but can't seem to sharpen/brighten up...on the + side runs ALOT cooler than the old plasma and I'm sure it'll be much cheaper electricity-wise...Thanks for the vid

Those are called component cables. There's one for each color needed - red, green, blue / RGB

I'm calibrating for gaming so... i'm failing so far any suggestions? because the gaming options sucks.. ;/ i herd to switch it to movie or vivid and mess around with those options but any help for gaming picture settings?

I have this tv. This not 120hz tv. It's 120 "brilliant motion rate". It's a software gimmick. Not true 120hz. Anyways this tv looks great with my ps4.

+LuisTutorialTV HDMI can only supply 120hz up to 720p. for 1080p, you'll need Displayport, which most tv's unfortunately don't come with.

Jennifer Horton you need a mini beam 2 or chromecast.
Go with Roku, or Chormecast. I've had both, and Roku works the best for me.

what a moof - amazing picture quality? i own this - its not and its a fake 120hz (its 60hz x2 but only can do 60fps max ) turn this setting off when playing a twitch-shooter games (cs-go type)
