I finally fixed the remote for my tv (it was only changing channels and volume, not powering on or off), and I got my old-school big stereo to work on the aux button! I don't know why you got so many dislikes. My remote batteries died and I hadn't been watching TV for a while so it lost its memory and I had to try to figure out the codes but the sites I was going to only had like two codes. I only made it through 2 minutes of your video and went to the code link site you mentioned, and Bam! first code I put in worked. Thank you!
@@JLPicard440 do you know anything about brazing torches? I picked up this cheap brazing torch kit Home Depot because I can't afford a welder at the moment. Something funky is going on with the acetylene line. I'll turn it on get it set but every time I let go of the knob it'll either increase flow or decrease flow and when I think I've got it perfect and the oxygen on all the sudden the settling starts fluctuating again. Do you know if this means it's just defective or is there something I can do to fix that? I just can't breathe if the torch keeps blowing out because of this problem.
@@NeighborhoodCarpenter It could be defective. Is it a torch set with regulators and Acetylene/ Oxy? If I remember right I usually set the Acetyl at around 5-7 PSI, and the OXY around 20. Those aren't the rule, but a starting point. Also, if you have a torch cleaning set which is usually a variety of small rods made to go in the little holes in the torch head, make sure there's nothing stuck in the torch tip.
@@NeighborhoodCarpenter One other thing.. when you turn on the OXY, I usually will do it very slowly and gradually increase the OXY knob or it will blow out the torch..
@@JLPicard440 it's an extremely cheap set that doesn't have regulators and I have to turn the Oxy knob a few cycles before it actually starts to allow flow whereas the map knob immediately starts to let some out as I barely turn it.

I tried all the codes I could find online and codes I had saved in my phone from the previous time but to no avail. I don't know. You can try a auto code search and see. But I'm sure the head unit has some specialized keys that this remote won't have being designed for in home AV equipment.

It took all of just 30 seconds to program mine....my instructions were lost, & I don't see any link in the description below as you'd said you'd do because I just don't see any link. It worked! I have the same tv as him, so it was simple. Bought the same control from the description link he provided. Control is a bit smaller than initially thought. But works like a charm!

Hey Rudy! It's evening on July 04, 2024!!!! Ok, I've this very same remote. It took all of just 30 seconds to program mine....my instructions were lost, & I don't see any link in the description below as you'd said you'd do because I just don't see any link. It's ok because I went to GE's remote website list, found the brand & the 3 possible codes. I did exactly as you showed & wala the 1st code worked. Thank You!!! It was super easy so I'm indebted to you. So, I'm a new subscriber, sent you a LIKE & now also a comment so I hope that helps you!!! Happy 4TH!!!

I got to use my GE universal controler but with the last method going random through every code ! I was about to give up after about maybe 20 minutes and I got to my cable box ! Thankx bro really appreciated !
