One of the coolest things in this movie is how it takes place in an unidentifiable moment in time. The cars, the homes, the fashion, that sea shell compact that has a screen you can scroll
love that you look at this movie as more than just a metaphor for STDs, which is the most common interpretation I’ve seen - which is still a valid interpretation, it’s just super interesting to see a different point of view
This is such an interesting analysis of this film! I watched it last night and the ambiguity of the ending left me wanting to know more about it, which then led me to this video. I’m glad i came across this video/channel as ur perspectives are really great!
great video, one of my favorite films. i think everyone had that vision of growing up to a certain age and then getting there and almost feeling disappointed that it isn't all laid out for you to enjoy your life
Would you entertain covering The Guest? And thanks for covering this one. It's one of these movies that just stuck with me. Mika has a way of choosing scripts. And I'm EXCITED that there will be a sequel. In these dreary times, where most IPs are ravaged and originality seems scarce, that's something to look forward for.
Would love to see your in depth analysis on that. Post the link... JK we all know you don't have one. Maybe don't trash someone who actually has an opinion and puts it out for review. This takes more proverbial "balls" that you think.
@@CobblesteinSwobblepop Then he should not suck at it. I, unlike him, will not talk gibberish and point out when people are acting pretentiously. Like I just did.

I love how the camera focuses on Paul every time she's discussing passing on the curse.. 🤣
It Follows is basically the Immortal Snail Dilemma if you think about it
Glad im not the only one thats thought that
You are right
this is probably one of the best deep investigations I have seen on this film
Ah thank you! Very kind
very smart analysis. great video. it bothers me how people only seem to boil this film down to being an abstinence metaphor.
I watched it last night and i agree!

Why this channel doesn't have subscribers and view, this channel and videos are good
With this and Smile, I like to think there’s a budding supernatural disease genre.

Someone really like closeups
I thought this movie was about STDS
For every "water is chaos," you can say "water is peace and tranquility." This is gibberish.
