This aircraft needs to come to Minneapolis-St Paul Int'l (MSP)!! I'd love to see this in person and have the chance to fly one day! Beautiful aircraft!! Well done, Airbus!!
+fishodorvagina the protections built into the fly-by-wire will protect you from having to make an unusual maneuver, but as any experienced Airbus pilot will tell you, you still need to have basic stick and rudder skills. This is still an airplane that abides by the same aerodynamic principles as the DC-3. You do something stupid and it will kill you. My airline operates Airbus aircraft and my friends that fly them will tell you that despite all the protections built into the systems, it will still get you into trouble.
+sasha blaine It will not get you into trouble just by merely doing hand and feet inputs on the stick and rudder pedals because it will block out whatever maneuvers the steering software manufacturer considers to be dangerous.
Un avion juste magnifique! Ni le plus gros, ni le plus long, un avion juste magnifique! Petit messages aux français de la vidéo: Vous avez un accent ;) (on dirait moi ^^)
@ hmcvm The aircraft did a lot of flights to the USA on test and did major climatic tests in Florida. And we in the UK have seen it as it visited the UK Airbus factories for some tests.
The only aircraft manufacturer that puts the computer before the pilots , when I get my ATPL I'll live my career saying "if it ain't Boeing, I ain't goin" #Team America
+Major Moore B787 is the same, Computer before Pilot,, I flew it for 6 months and returned to fly the A330,, i flew B737CL+NG for 7 years,, now Airbus for 3 years,, Trust me Airbus is more safe and relaxing to fly rather than Boeing. If your new in flying maybe Boeing is a good choice just for enjoying hand flying,, but now aviation is all about management and CRM,, no more macho flying. Look at the safety record for Boeing and Airbus,, in tech and safety `airbus always win.
Nick Cockayne Yes it is a bit narrower, but with 9 abreast instead of 10 in economy like most 777's, so the seats are wider on A350. BTW the 787 is narrower than the A350 but with the same 9 abreast. So the A350 deserve the title of "extra wide body".
Every aircraft manufacturer should make these progress videos. Quite entertaining to watch as an aircraft enthusiast
cough cough boeing

A very Beautiful aircraft well done Airbus
A350 XWB monster of the sky
One thing I like about the A350 is that you can fly it with little or no stick and rudder skills.
Remind me to never, ever fly with you.
+sasha blaine The pilot's control input is limited by the fly-by-wire system.
