Hi Rhonda, I've heard you mention a few times that you prefer the Bicarb and Citric Acid from Heirloom. Is that because it is a certain grade quality, or is it just that it is a super fine texture? Would blitzing my BS and CA in a vitamix to get a finer texture serve the same purpose? Thanks in advance xx
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery my mistake, yes I did mean n-essentials sorry. Thanks for that. The Vitamix option sounds good esp with n-essentials prices now 🙃

Hey guys. I bought a custom made made silicone mould for my shower steamers with embossed writing on it but every time i unmould the writing has just crumbled off and stuck to the mould. Anyone got any tips 😘😘 thank you ❤️
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery thank you for your reply. I don't know if maybe I've pushed it in too hard and maybe try packing it lighter. It's frustrating as I bought them without thinking how difficult silicone is for shower steamers ❤️
WOW you charge a lot for shower melts and yours are small we only charge 2.55 USD. you do not need to heat the alcohol just put the crystals in it and leave it set .you can also make it up in advance . Now if dissolving them in oil you would need to heat it . They only dissolve in Oil or 91% alcohol. Why on earth are you putting oil in a shower steamer it is a added expense and could make the shower floor slippery it is un-needed ingredient
Hi there. My costs are different to yours I’m sure. We are in Australia and my cost is normal here . Our cost of goods is very expensive here and I also have professional boxing. Also our insurance is double the USA so it’s important when you seee a price to understand all goods are different. The oil does not make the floor slippery as it’s a tiny amount and it helps as a binder in my environment. This is how I make mine with success . Also if you look at our dollar and our cost of living is more than double the USA so it’s all comparable
I do agree that oil is unnecessary. I don't use any in mine and they are rock hard and bind together just fine. But remember we each have our processes, what works for one person may not work for another. That is what works for her and that is just fine.
What is the purpose of the oil, since this is a shower steamer and not a bath bomb for a tub? Your packaging is gorgeous. So too is the Kitchen Aid...I have one in black for my business and just love it.

It helps to dampen the mix with a plant base product
Lovely 🥰 I cannot see the link for the recipe
if its not in the description i give it out during the video
I thought I heard you say at 4:25 that you will put the recipe in the description.

Hi Rhonda where do you get your menthol crystals from?
I buy them from heirloom australia. Most soap suppliers will have them to
Hey Rhonda, can you use micas instead of dyes? I don't have menthol either (no money to buy any) but I have a lot of essential oils I need to use up
You don’t need crystals but it won’t be as strong . You can use a tiny bit of mica
