      I am using it now. I just started a few weeks ago, so can't give results, but the texture is gel like. It does have a copper "smell", so if that bothers you,I it's not a good option. I've had no negative reaction and can use it with my retinol. The only active I avoid when I use it is Ascorbic Acid, vitamin C.

      I use it and enjoy it, but wouldn’t repurchase it (I just have other ingredients/products I’d rather use in that step of my routine).
      It’s a nice essence/moisturizing step, but the copper peptides aren’t at an effective concentration to experience the true potential of what CPs can do for your skin (not even the slightest blue hue detectable to indicate the presence of the peptides).
      I use it on “peptide night” where I try to use a peptide product at every step if I have one (mixed with the CosRX 96 snail mucin for added healing benefit).

    I use the Ordinary and love it except for the hyaluronic acid, I find it is super sticky and heavy in humid weather and kind of goopy even when applying during dry days. I'm not a fan of hyaluronic acid in general, much prefer glycerin or anything else that doesn't draw water to my skin, it also dries out in dry weather too. otherwise, I find the ordinary really helps tighten my skin when I use it. Its subtle but noticeable. and such a great price point still. I do want to try the Biossance at some point.

    Do you know the percentage of copper peptide is in Maelove? For instance the Ordinary specifically makes it clear. I’m using it right now. But, I like the Maelove products I’ve tried and I like the idea of their being extra ingredients. But now as I’m typing I just wondered how do the others ‘compete’ with the Ordinary as it has multiple peptides and a few other ingredients. (Hope I’m making sense, It’s around 5AM where I live and I haven’t slept/insomnia). Enjoyed this video. I’ve been catching up on a few tonight.

    • @ScoobyDoosMom

      Wouldn’t it be great if more brands were transparent about this? We don’t even really know if in that one percent, the quality of the product given where they source their peptides. It’s very sketchy. I was going to try Niche Beauty Lab’s 3% Copper peptide but I think it would be interesting to see if a chemistry company tested these products, if they were shown to have what they claim to have, kind of like how that infamous beloved J or K beauty sunscreen (sorry, forgot the name) was shown to have such lower sun protection, than what it listed on the bottle. I don’t particularly trust what corporation’s list. With how expensive copper peptides are (if you were to buy them raw), I find it hard to believe you are getting the same stuff in a $30-50 bottle when buying them raw is $150.

    • @Bunbunnyart
      @Bunbunnyart Месяц назад +1

      @@ScoobyDoosMommost legitimate supplement companies use 3rd party testing and post results on the product page. Not sure why skincare companies don’t typically, if at all, do that also.

    • @ScoobyDoosMom
      @ScoobyDoosMom Месяц назад

      @@Bunbunnyart what I’ve been reading more and more is that when companies decline to provide this information, there’s a reason. It either isn’t what it should be, etc. I have never trusted corporations, or big Pharma. I believe that often times, they claim things that are not correct, but we only find out when someone actually tests like with the Purito sunscreen that they claimed has a high SPF but tested at some ridiculously note loan number. And then the company tried to excuse their way out of it. If I was a Contant creator, and getting these devices and products for free, I wouldn’t worry as much, but if I’m gonna spend a lot of my money on expensive devices and products that maybe do absolutely nothing, I want more information.
