Loved this video! Amazing how our skin reacts so differently. The Niod and ordinary serums burn my skin immediately, The Niod Copper Lipid feels great and I wake up with skin I’m Happy with.
loren pickarts products, skin biology, are great, i've been using them for years. I just starting putting their serum on my eyebrows and it's really working.
OMG, thank you sooo much. I have been dealing with an inflamed earlobe every time I wear earrings. Over 50 years of trying different products to cure this. I used a drop of copper peptide and no more inflammation the next day, I can wear my earrings more than a couple times a week🎉
Mad about skin is coming out with a 3% serum soon. I'm excited to check that one out as his products are nice and affordable. Right now, the ordinary one is my go-to.
This serum is not a true copper peptide serum. It is primarily copper gluconate. If you are ever in doubt, look at the color of the product. Any solution of GHK-Cu > 0.3% is a very vivid deep blue. Products that are pale blue are either not true copper peptides or only have a trace amount of actual GHK-Cu. It is financially impossible to make a cheap 3% GHK-Cu due to the raw material price.
I just got Maelove's newly released Peptide Squad serum. Love it! Super nice formulation. My skin loves it. It's sold out now, but hopefully back in stock soon
I seen that and looks like a good serum. I was looking on their website and it doesn't say the percentage of copper peptide. Sarah thinks Peach & Lily uses eggplant and turmeric for coloring but Maelove uses those ingredients as well. Not sure if its true but I'm curious about it.
@@paulayarbrough6930 Hm that's a good question. Wish they would show % copper peptides. I love that it's got Matrixyl, ceremides and other goodies along with lots of peptides, but the copper seems to be a very important one!
@@MsMerceMercewhen I see a brand not mention the percentage of ingredients, it makes me think there's a reason why. Peach & Lily Copper Peptide Serum only has .2% ( which is clearly a low amount) but at least they own it.
Not sure how your ear was pierced but the best and least traumatic way is with a hollow needle at a piercing place, not an earring in a piercing gun. The gun causes a crush injury, whereas the needle is very very sharp and hardly hurts and heals faster.
I’ve moved on from copper peptides and have just taken advantage of a big Black Friday sale of Maysama Roobios Green Tea Serum to use with my red light mask… there are some emerging studies out that support green tea increases red light results. I still use my Matrixyl 3000 peptide serum, but I must say halfheartedly. NoBS could you look at the Maysama green tea and red light therapy connection? If anyone can get to the bottom for us on this subject, you can. ❤ from a fellow MN girl
There is nothing special about green tea. The only results that have ever been shown (and not well) are that the antioxidant properties of green tea scavange any free radicals caused by the red light. Any decent antioxidant would do the same..maybe better. Omnilux was recommneding Vitamin C be used with their salon panel treatments way back in 2002.
I didn’t know you couldn’t wear mineral sunscreen with CP, I have Biossance squalane and CP, looks like I will have to wear at night then because I can’t use any and I mean any! Chemical sunscreens without the dreaded eye sting/ streaming. I’m new to cp so maybe a good place to start.
Thank you for this. I want to try the theramid once I finish my TO buffet. I've been using that for a couple of years and my skin responds so well. I've always done every other night with tretinoin. The last time I ran out of TO copper buffet, I decided to do an experiment. I switched to tret every night and went a few months without copper. Definitely regretted it. Couldn't wait for the Black Friday sale to get copper buffet again. My skin is much happier now and looking better thankfully.
Be mindful that if you order from niche lab, you might get a charge of $25 for customs. Yeah, it's free shipping to Arizona but I had to pay $25 charge for a $50 bottle of serum. It's not worth it
Regarding the squalane, some are 100% sugar-derived (Biossance) and others are olive-derived (Ordinary). I went down a sourcing rabbit hole and determined what Biossance was using. Not sure if that helps.
Could you go through your skin care routine AM and PM in order of application and the name of the brands including copper peptides? I am finding the two brands of copper peptides I have tried are drying to my over 65 skin, even after applying a moisturizer. Thank you for considering my request.
Do you remember the names of the ones that were drying? I typically apply a light toner or essence before the copper peptides- the two I enjoy are Cosrx 6 Peptide Booster Serum or the Vegreen Reishi Barrier Serum. After that I'll apply my copper peptide serum. Give it a moment to soak in then apply a thick cream- the Neogen High R Exosome Cream, then I'll apply a thicker sleeping mask such as the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream or the Stratia Skin Liquid Gold. Have you thought about trying a facial oil over it or mixing a few drops of an oil with your moisturizer after the copper peptides? That might be the trick. Argan oil, rosehip oil, and jojoba oil are all great for that.
Hi Sarah, Could you try the mad about skin skin perfecting serum with 3% copperpeptide? Would love to hear what you think off it in comparison to the theramid. 😘 love you video's!!
Loved the video. I took your advice and got Geek and Gorgeous’ C-Glow, aPad, and A game 5 (beginning user). But not sure how to use together, Would you please advice. Thank you 😊
Use vitamin c in the morning as a first product you put on your face. I am using geek & gorgeous also and it is fantastic. Than over vitamin c put aPAd serum, because vitamin c and azelaic acid or it's derivates work great together. Than put sunscreen at the end of your routine always as the last product. At the evening wash your face first and than if you have sensitive skin put moisterizer first and than on top put the retinal' if you dont have sensitive skin put retinal first and than put moisterizer over it....
@metulj is right on with the recommendations. These products are my top three from g&g. Starting out slow is key. Do you have a good moisturizer you can use over the retinol? That will help the starting out process of beginning the retinol. The Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream is a great one to check out. Sunscreen during the daytime as well.
Love this set up of the video Sarah! Sometimes when the video is about the individual product, it just leaves me with so many quesitons like which is better etc and this one compares different ones on one ingredient that I like so much! I wanted to suggest you to make a video on comparing certain serums and finidng a winner that do the same thing - e.g. Ordinary Buffet with Cosrx The 6 Peptide Skin Booster Serum , Theramid 22% Multi-Peptide Treatment (purple one) or any other that are good competors!:) I think it would be nice to compare their percentages and how potent they are:) There are so many serums on the market that look good individually but as a customer we often need to choose the best one and these kind of comparisons would help so much!:) thank youuuu! :)
Just got the NIOD copper lipid tube and was wondering if I could use it with my 1% Retinal. Thank you for the buffering suggestion. Looking forward to see if this works better than the Ordinary for my dry, mature skin. Many blessings!!!💖💖💖

I wanted to try The Ordinarys Argireline 10 solution but I'm afraid to. I've read comments regarding it causing people's skin to sag 😳 Ulta had all Peach & Lily products on sale during Black Friday ( 35% off ) I took advantage of that. The Peach & Lily Copper Peptide Serum has a low percentage of copper peptides .2% so I figured start with it first then go for The Ordinary Copper Peptide Serum
Isehan kiss me mommy uv aqua milk is my favourite for my dry, sensitive skin and extremely sensitive and watery eyes. Never burned my eyes but beware, it’s slightly dewy.
You'll have to let me know how you end up liking it! Certainly a Hyaluronic Serum would work. I typically reach for the Hyggee Natural Repair Serum as a neutral layer. Sometimes I use the Round Lab Soybean Serum, the Peach and Lily Glass Serum, or the Cosrx Centella Aqua Soothing Ampoule. Vegreen also has a cica Ampoule that would probably work well too.
I've been so curious about that one but seems like no one talks about it. I wish I would've bought it when it was available on Amazon. I just kept thinking it was for acne so I never looked at the ingredients. Then I seen Rob from Mad about Skin talk about it and I was like 🤦♀️

Ive noticed more peach fuzz the last year or so and i started using copper peptides at the same time! Good to know thats why!
I use Acure radically rejuvenating whipped night cream. It has encapsulated copper peptides so it doesn’t interfere with other products.

It is fascinating. Sometimes you just never know until you try something. Probably has a lot to do with genetics and environmental causes as well.
Copper peptides can be very drying, unless your skin is oily. The Niod Copper Amino Isolate Lipid was formulated to be moisturizing.
I love it too
