Old Coins (1960s and Older)

These are some of the old coins I found when I decided to go through the massive amount of coins that I and most people seem to have. In the small portion, I went through, I managed to find quite a few coins that were more than 50 years old, which speaks to how historically significant coins and currency are in general. Its also surprising that I have so many of these because supposedly, the Federal Reserve is supposed to try and take these coins out of circulation and melt them down after 30 years because they are "too worn to be used". I don't see how that's true when that one 1964 penny is still shiny enough that it reflects light.
