Looks like an insane amount of work to get the engine out!
I’m working on a build for my 1988 Corvette right now too. Using an LQ4 as a base and I’m working with Tony Mamo to build the engine. We’re going with a 4.065 bore and a 4.000 stroke for a total of 415ci or 6.8L I’m getting his 243cc aluminum CNC heads with hollow valve stems, hand ported by the man himself on December 31st. Estimating 670hp NA on 93 octane.
Your not getting no where near 670hp lmao.
I have a LQ9 6.7L 408 with 273cc LS3 Frankenstein Ported Heads & BTR Trinity Intake Manifold that’s making like 580rwhp
@@MainEventRacingYou’re questioning Tony’s work? He already made a 416 stroker make 691hp with his MMS 240 Cathedral heads, and the heads he supplied me are even better than that! I literally got every service possible for the heads. Not cheap but worth every penny. I don’t think 670hp is unrealistic at all.

Can’t wait to see the finished car! I see these cars being one of the last of its kind. I just might pull the trigger on one as I could drive it for 3 years for free basically!
My c5 has all mamo stuff too, he’s a great salesman! 220 heads with the mamofied option. Made 450whp with lower compression which is great for an ls1 but in retrospect I probably would have been just as happy with some ported stock heads and I would have saved around $4000 and probably would have still made 430whp. I also independently flow tested the heads and they flowed great but not as advertised.

Any updates on mamo build? I have the mamo 265 tfs heads milled .030 and picked up nothing with them on back to back dyno pulls on same dyno versus stock out the box tfs 260 heads. Pretty disappointed to say the least

My care picked up a decent amount of power with the Mamo 265 heads

I have a 2007 Ron Fellows commemorative edition car that will be for sale soon. 17k original miles. One of 399 made. Will be $49,995. Prices on C6 Z06s have changed a lot this year!

@@ChaseKaiser yeah I feel pretty lucky in hind sight! My engine is back together, just need to get it back in the car. It has been a busy year and I got side tracked with a few other cars along the way

Hey man on RPM’s site they offer the Stage 4 kit with no options for $12795. Did they change their price from the 8-9k you mentioned or is the extra cost from labor? It seems like you just ordered all your parts to install yourself.
Did you ever finish the ZO6 project?
That electric water pump looks crazy. What’s the HP gains from going Electric?
Don’t forget to do the motion raceworks flex line crossover steam kit. Doug from motion does a good video of why you need this for all LS engines.
I have had my eyes on those for a while! I am going to call to confirm if it will clear my intake manifold. I also want to get one of their catch cans
