I can only imagine it has gotten better now that they’re up to 2.3. I’ve been looking at all the multi effects pedals and I really feel if the tones are good and there are enough IR’s this is a really great buy for the price. I don’t think the Helix is as user-friendly and easy to navigate as this pedal. And I love how almost everything in a rig is assignable and named automatically. Thanks for your time in making the video and showing people how easy this beast is to use. Keep on rocking!

      @@DoctorMcFarlandStudios Must say when I received it there was a bit of noise. I bought mine second hand so the previous user probably messed with the settings. I loaded a clean slate and built a rig, Adjusted the noise gate and very quiet indeed.

    Awesome video!! Best by far for the headrush mate.... just bought one for gigging and your videos have been amazing!!!
    One question tho was hoping you could help with delays at all.... can you dial in mms on all delays or are some only set by 1/4 etc etc or 598, 350mms etc etc?
    Just trying to get 'the edge tones' but having trouble running more then one delay and getting timings right with different delays
    Hope that makes sense.. and again awesome work... subscribed 👍

      In the Delay parameters there is Sync on or off. When set to off you can dial in the milliseconds. When set to On you can dial in the subdivision. For Edge type delays I have two delays with one set to 1/4 and the other set to 3/16. Just tap in the tempo and you are ready to go.

    Great video. The Headrush company should use this video instead of the poor videos they had at the beginning with a guy that can hardly play the guitar. Your videos are much more in depth and perfect for active guitar players that own the HeadrusH pedalboard or Gigboard. I suggest you make an in depth video exclusively on the looper function of the pedalboard. Keep up the good work!.

    Fantastic video Doc! As always you are top shelf when it comes to the Headrush! One question though, does the HR have a setting similar to the sag and bias in the Helix? This is the one thing I wish the HR had and it might be in there and I just dont know where or what it is!

    • @DoctorMcFarlandStudios
      @DoctorMcFarlandStudios  4 года назад

      KevinIsIn5623 I think the Headrush reproduces the sag naturally in the amp models. It’s baked into the sound. Less parameters to fiddle with makes it easier to dial in a great tone much faster.

    Hey this is a super cool video! The most thorough! I wish you continued success in your channel. I have a couple of questions, between the gigboard and the pedal board how many presets can I create and store? Also, which in your opinion sounds "better" meaning and authentic sounding the LIne 6 Helix LT or the Headrush? I am thinking of getting one of these. I am really just a bedroom musician who practices alot, to ultimately join a rock band. Thank you again for posting this.

      You can create as many presets as you want. The Helix and Headrush both sound great. It comes down to workflow. The ease of use of the Headrush is my personal preference and the amp tones have a very natural feel to them.
