This is one of my favorite Rundowns in a long while... Michael is such a likable dude, tasty riffs, amazing personality and someone you just wanna root for - take over the world LEMMO!
Accidentally clicked on this video, never heard of Lemmo, but I kept watching for his playing and great personality. I’m a fan! Such a likable guy with great storytelling!
I dig Lemmo, a rising star from humble beginnings thrown into the spotlight, and for good or bad has made it work. Very inspirational RR, thanks again PG
Just a suggestion, but how about another RR featuring the boys from MOE. In my opinion, they are underappreciated as guitarists, and there's some great stories within the band. I'm just throwing this out there, and thanks again, PG
I got to meet Michael at Norman’s... He’s a really down to earth guy. Such a great and versatile player as well. Glad he’s featured in this episode! Keep rocking, Lemmo!
Amazing! Saw him on a few of the Norman’s Guitar videos, but never thought he was such a cool, kind-hearted, down-to-earth guy! Very affable. He has some awesome stories that I’m sure he’ll never forget. Fantastic and very unique player too! The bit at 16:20 had me on the edge of my seat! He kinda mentioned that he took lessons when he was talking about utilizing the thumb, but I’m sure he’s a decent amount self-taught as well. Haha, love it. Peace, love, and happiness, to him and to all! 🎸🤘🏻
Lemmo is my favorite L.A guitarist because of his masterful playing and impeccable tone. All the while merging "feel" with technical ability in a most melodic way. Plus he's just a sweet and humble dude.
Had no idea who this guy was and I'm not a big fan of Jazzmasters, but I'm so glad I stopped by and watched (and re-watched) this. Fun, educational and inspiring stories and man, can he play!!
Such a great player and I totally feel him on the “ I really don’t know what to put out cause I love everything” 💯 I dig how he uses so many different styles, licks & tricks from alot of his biggest influences and blends ‘em all together into his own style so seemlessly and smooth! 😎🎸🎶⭐️💫
I love the cable laying on top of the overdrive and woven through the reverb pedal knobs for no reason. Working on pedal boards can be needlessly tedious but I do recommend at least spending 10 seconds on it.
That was such an interesting, dreamlike story about EVH. When I was a kid in the 80s, and a new guitar player, I had a dream one night that I was playing when EVH walked into my room with his guitar on. He started showing me how to play his music. I woke up and was so excited to try what he’d shown me. My excitement didn’t last long. I’m still half asleep, crazy bed-hair, standing there wondering why what sounded so good in my dream sounded like chaotic nonsense in real life. It was so depressing, lol.
Top guy love his playing, he filled some big shoes following Mark @ Norms but has nailed it been watching him since the beginning. Great rundown guys 🎸🇬🇧
I met Michael, Norm and the crew about 18 months ago. Michael helped me find a 335. He could not have not been nicer or more helpful. It was a great experience and a lot of fun.
Lemmo is a fantastic player and one of the most creative rock guitar players today. Never mind that he effortlessly plays jazz and other non-rock styles also.
What this video is missing is a bunch of viewers from Norm's channel asking for shout outs in all caps and griping about minor imperfections on the guitar
"Norm's is a destination store-that's true! The first time I was in LA, my friends booked a tour at Warner Bros, but I said, 'I've got better places to see.' While I was there, I had a brief chat with both Norm and Lemmo-what gentlemen they are!
Lemmo rips. The second time I went to Norm’s, my friend wanted to check out 335s. After 2 minutes Rob told me, “If you’re not going to buy today, could you take off? I have a guy over there checking out some really expensive acoustics.” Which I thought was weird because another employee was happy to chat. We spent less than 10 full minutes inside.
I have been watching Michael Lemmo for the past 5 years. He is not only an amazing player, but is one of the nicest, no-ego guys out there. Come to Bakersfield and play at the Guitar Masters series at the Bakersfield Music Hall of Fame venue. Just hang, play, talk, bring some of Norm's best JAZZMASTERS. Seriously, if you have not heard about this series, you'd love it.
Thank you Premier Guitar for all the amazing content! Just wondering if an updated rundown of Keith Urban’s touring rig might be scheduled/in planning? Awesome ambient overdrive tele/strat tones throughout his recent shows (as expected). Appears to be running an assortment of pedals through at least two Fender combos (one tweed) - sitting behind three/four black speaker columns in his backline - and a return to his first 40th anniversary tele, but with reinstalled passive pickups and selector switch.
Never heard of this guy, but his playing is so interesting & inspiring. It's kind of like if J Mascis, Nuno & EVH, had a kid. But i also hear Linsey Buckingham..... Again, really unique & cool guitar style.
When visting Norm's last summer, we were chatting over a Gretsch about Martin Gore with a salesman, then Lemmo started picking some Depeche Mode on the couch. The girlfriend was in 7th heaven! Shout out to English Nick Dias, too, who told us some stories about his early days selling Mr Gore his first Gretsch too.

Lemmo is a great player and a good person.
What about the allegations
@@PageandPlant4Life what allegations?
@@wampaproductions1152 I read somewhere that he never plays full barre chords. Heinous!
@@PageandPlant4LifeMark of an exceptional guitarist.
I agree he's a good person.
This is one of my favorite Rundowns in a long while... Michael is such a likable dude, tasty riffs, amazing personality and someone you just wanna root for - take over the world LEMMO!
What an extremely likable guy
He is the nicest guy. Same in person. I’d like to see an instructional looping video!
Accidentally clicked on this video, never heard of Lemmo, but I kept watching for his playing and great personality. I’m a fan! Such a likable guy with great storytelling!
He recently released an EP. It's really good.
I look forward to Lemmo's guitar of the day performances everyday.
So great to hear Jeff Buckley cited as an amazing guitar player. Indeed. Much love for Lemmo and much love for Norman's.
I dig Lemmo, a rising star from humble beginnings thrown into the spotlight, and for good or bad has made it work. Very inspirational RR, thanks again PG
thanks for watching!

I love that Van Halen story! Lemmo is a fantastic player!
Lemmo is one of the best of his generation, can’t believe he’s so underrated.
A player like him should be recognized everywhere
I got to meet Michael at Norman’s... He’s a really down to earth guy. Such a great and versatile player as well. Glad he’s featured in this episode! Keep rocking, Lemmo!
I love watching Michael’s demos on Norm’s RUclips channel.
Michael and Norman Harris have graced my house here in Newhall, California. Great kid that Michael Lemmo!
Love Lemmo so much! Guitar of the day is the best. His tone in this vid is unbelievable.

He seems to be a grateful young man that loves guitars like the rest of us..he has an excitement about him and the instrument. 🎉🎉🎉
Lemmo doing guitar reviews is the only time I've slowed down a review to learn what someone is playing.
Lemmo is my favorite L.A guitarist because of his masterful playing and impeccable tone. All the while merging "feel" with technical ability in a most melodic way. Plus he's just a sweet and humble dude.

Lemmo is one of a kind - love to hear him play and love what a down to earth dude he is. Can’t get enough of his playing.

Fender needs to make a Lemmo model.
You guys finally got Lemmo! Awesome!! I had a chance to meet him a few times-great guy and a huge talent.
I love the cable laying on top of the overdrive and woven through the reverb pedal knobs for no reason. Working on pedal boards can be needlessly tedious but I do recommend at least spending 10 seconds on it.
Great Choice for rig rundown. Lemmo rocks and his sound is unique.

Lemmo and Jen make the best guitar of the day vids. I'm SO looking forward to meeting the gang at Norm's and picking up a couple of basses.
I met Michael, Norm and the crew about 18 months ago. Michael helped me find a 335. He could not have not been nicer or more helpful. It was a great experience and a lot of fun.
Gotta love Lemmo!! Thanks for this one!!
His two albums are great. Demo is one of my favorites of the last 5 years. Great player and songwriter.
Been loving watching Lemmo's stuff with Norm's so seeing his own Rig Rundown is like the best of both worlds, this was absolutely fucking awesome
Lemmo is a fantastic player and one of the most creative rock guitar players today. Never mind that he effortlessly plays jazz and other non-rock styles also.
Love this guy, just seems like such a genuinely nice person. Wish you the best Lemmo! Been watching GoTD forever.
What this video is missing is a bunch of viewers from Norm's channel asking for shout outs in all caps and griping about minor imperfections on the guitar
I see lemmo as a great rhythm guy...he comes up with some lovely melodic stuff in his videos...love the norm videos
This was a great treat of a video to see! Truly a great player and down to earth person. Loved this Rig Rundown! 🤘🏾🔥🎸🎸🎸
"Norm's is a destination store-that's true! The first time I was in LA, my friends booked a tour at Warner Bros, but I said, 'I've got better places to see.' While I was there, I had a brief chat with both Norm and Lemmo-what gentlemen they are!
Wow the brown sound on a Jazzmaster and through a Fender amp!
Such a great player! Fun to see him in this context vs all the Norm’s stuff he’s usually doing. Thanks.
He does amazing reviews at Norman’s.
Lemmo sure seems like a nice person! And he is top shelf in his playing ability...
Seriously awesome. I love Lemmo’s playing and videos at Norm’s. Even my girlfriend, who doesn’t play, enjoys hearing him play in the GoTDs.
Cool idea for a rig rundown. Always inspired by Michael's playing.
Never heard of this dude. But now I’m a fan. Great attitude and killer sounding technique, seems like someone who can hang
Lemme has helped me out a few times at Norm's. Great guy and the dude should be a huge rockstar by now. I suspect it is only a matter of time.
Such a great player!
Lemmo is the best ! Been following him since he started at Norms . 🎸🔥
Lemmo killin it ...I hear Eddie in his playing. Amazing tone from that tiny pedal board!
Some people just have the nicest vibe. Great playing!!! Great tone!
W0W! That intro was absolute badassery! I usually don't use tab, but for that would be killer! \m/

Norman’s Rare Guitars’ representative
LOVE THE ERR SHIRT!
Michael was friends with Eddie long before life on planet earth. 🎸😎🙏🏼✌️
Really cool Michael Lemmo enjoyed the hell out of that!!
11’s on a Jazzmaster seems like a beast to play
always his style of playing
Real music.
Underrated lemmo!
Lemmo is one of my favourite modern guitarists, love his sound and I’m still listening to The Otherside every day.
Interesting, being such a big Van Halen fan, he's gone all in on the Jazzmaster. Which sounds really good.
Lemmo = Rockstar 13:50 Yep. Touched by the master. That explains alot.
Great tone and playing
The honey bee is special - cool to see it dimed, I need to try that
This guy deserves his own signature guitar
When EVH wasnt drinking he was such a sweet guy
Damn! Incredible player!
👍🏻 that song you’re playing on the way out has a Van Halen feel to it
