An update to my previous comment. I now LOVE ❤️ my GigBoard after I watched a shorter demo and managed to get great tones. Albeit this extensive video is very invaluable and I will definitely save it for later Thanks Dr McFarland.
I knew you just needed more time. I keep my Gigboard in my studio desk and I use it for all my guitar and bass parts. Always sounds great in the mix and is super fast to get the sound I want.

I was among the first buyers of the Digidesign Eleven Rack Which I Used as Recording Interface And a live performance Tool. And I still love it. Nevertheless the GigBoard is a huge step ahead of the Eleven Rack. Another question I have for you if you please. How do I apply IR to my GigBoard? Is it built in? Or it’s in the menu? Or needed to be downloaded? Much Obliged and Best Wishes
Is there a way, during a concert, to quickly switch rigs from one song to another? I have a different rig for each song, but to change I have to hold, go to rig mode, then choose the song, hold, go to stomp mode, and play ...
I really like the Gigboard for the bigger screen but I like the MX5 for the included expression pedal. Depends on what you get used to. The Gigboard is a permanent staple on my studio desk.
HI Timothy, There are no "stock" backing tracks or drums. You can load your own files to play along with though they cannot be triggered by a footswitch.

Really good video. I have a question: Lets say I'm using Rig mode to play a song on stage but, in the first part of the song (first rig), I need to turn off one particular effect of this first rig. How can i do this without going to stomp mode while playing the song? Can I have an external switch assigned for that effect? Kind Regards
I've seen this question asked but I'm not sure there's a definitive answer so I'll ask the professionals; how do I use my Gigboard as a straight-up interface without the effects? I have EZmix and usually use my Audient iD4 for recording but I unplugged the iD4 and now the Gigboard is my main interface...can I still use it to record with other software like EZmix and AmpliTube? Great videos too man, thanks for putting in the time and effort to teach us this stuff!
Awesome video!!! You should make a suggestion to headrush, to add a multi switch to the gigboard just like strymon does. Because when I'm using the 4cm, I use the fx loop and ext amp block so I only have 2 switches free, which is very limited.

What if I’m running a four cable method already with A Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier and I want to use the Headrush Gigboard for effects through my effects loop on my amp?
@ I go through a Boss tuner-Dimebag wah-Digitech Whammy-into the input of a Boss noise suppressor NS2.From the NS2 Send to a Demonfx Precision Drive into the input of the Head,then from the output of the NS2 to a Boss Super Chorus-Boss DD-20 Giga Delay to the Return of the Loop on the Head.From the Return of the NS-2 to the send of the Loop.I had a Flanger and a Phaser in the Loop but it didn’t sound good,thinking of running them in front.Thats why I was wondering how my Gigboard would sound though the loop.Waiting on a USB TO USB Cable to arrive so I can try and update the firmware on the Gigboard.
Can the midi in/out be used to toggle up/down through presets so we don't have to try and turn the knob with our foot and possibly pass the one we need?

Is there anyway to download guitar backing tracks into the looper to play along with I use headphones a lot live in a small apartment now and can’t just play loud the way I used to do it which was sending the backing track to another Bluetooth speaker and then Using my amp to play the guitar parts thanks

This is really Super Complicated And a 90 Degrees Learning Curve. I feel let down by Headrush I got mine yesterday after favoring it over a myriad of other Multi Effects and pedals because I have their Eleven Rack and I tried out some rigs from the menus they all sounded the same and horribly digital so I put it back in its box and I turned on my Source Audio Nemesis Delay Engine and my Wampler Pantheon Drive And I got the heavenly Analog tones I love. No more Multi Effects Gentlemen Back to my Pedals. Thank You so much
I assume you were playing your gigboard through an amp right? Were you just using the effects or did you have an amp model and cab while playing through an amp? Out of the box there is some tweaking that needs to be done that but is the purpose of my video so show you how to set this thing up. The Headrush is very easy to use and if you understand real amps and pedals then the same concepts can be applied to the amps and fx in the Headrush.

I think I was a bit hasty in judging the GigBoard before I saw much shorter demo by the Headrush Guys in which They very simply put together a simple Gig with 2 pedals and it sounded Awesome. Your video will be extremely valuable to me down the road since it’s highly detailed, I am a brick and mortar Old Guitarists who wants his tone with the push of a button. As I am now more familiar with how to choose an Amp a Cab and a Couple Of Pedals. I am so very happy that I chose the GigBoard over anything else. Hi .... Today my GigBoard wouldn’t turn on !!! It’s brand new I switch it the 4 four lights light for one second then it turns off !!! The on switch doesn’t not clutch inside !!! Is it supposed to be so? The switch also feels flimsy and loose. Please help if there’s a certain way to switch it on again. Thanks
No. The switch does not clutch inside. My power input cord feels loose and I fear it could just fall out one day. Maybe you're having a power connection issue?

To add more switches you can use a MIDI controller to stay in Rig View and them turn off which ever fx block you want.

The IR is a speaker so it should always go after the amp.

Frankie Vicente I prefer to use setlists in Rigs view. That way I always see 4 rigs at a time.

I would add a Graphic EQ or white boost after the amp for solos.

You will need to use MIDI if you want to switch between all the channels. Otherwise you can only switch between two with your current cable setup.

They are both very similar except for a new screen differences. Reading the manual always helps.
