Wrong. Don't get me wrong I like what some of these guys are doing with some of these boxes. However in terms of value they are too customized and their value is only based on certain individuals. Its no different than all those rat rods you see. They are only valuable to a certain demographic. To me a rat rod or over customized box isn't worth anything to crazy to me. As well as the majority of people who collect classic cars.
Add a cold air intake, magnaflo stainless mufflers and an ecu tune… also get a big brake kit. You’ll be all in $2500 and it’ll sound sooooo sweet and. It’ll have a little more performance. Great find….
Man Anton , I always wanted a 96 Chevy Impala. As a kid in Chicago in the late 90s that was the number 1 dope boy car. That SS impala was are Dodge at that time.Anton you forgot 1 more known history lesson , they only came in 3 colors , Black, Burgundy and Green💯
Only the 1996 Had the floor shifter. The 94 only came in black as well and the side mirrors were attached to the doors. 94 and 95 both had digital dash clusters and column shifters. the 1996 had analog dash.
Congratulations , as a collector myself, I only collect original #`s matching vehicles. Mainly Corvettes. I own a 1995 with the LT1 engine as in your car. The one concern with those engines is the Opti-Spark ignition distributor on the water and pump. Keep it dry and be aware it is a potential future servicable issue. I have a 96 SS Raised in Alabama. It has been LS swapped, and upgeaded with a 3.73 LSD. The lt1 and 240hp just isn't enough for the modern day. Love those wheels, keep that car safe and don't let that SALT touch it.
In the 90s no car had a lot of hp. Even the vettes had the lt1 and nothing bigger that because of compression laws even must cobra was a supercharged 4.6 that put out a lil over 300 hpto the wheels.
please don't mess with that car it will do nothing but gain value even if you drive a 1,000 miles a year. get a higher miles one if you want to customize one. keep up the great work.

I’ve always loved this car. The dudes that bought a Caprice and tried to make it look like an Impala annoyed me. Especially the ones that did it with a used police car. They would put dark tint on the windows so you couldn’t look inside for that floor shifter to see if it was real Impala. 😆
You could always look at the back windows 🪟. Caprice clones have pointed back windows. They call it the glasshouse. I had the caprice classic. Trust me, I know
The 94 Impalas had column shifters. At least some of them did. Random, but I used to work at a seafood restaurant back in the 90's when I was a teenager and the owner had an Impala SS with the column shifter. Then he traded it in for a new one with the floor shifter. I was never into the Impalas, but I do remember riding in the first one and it had a column shifter.
That’s clean as it gets! I have a 1996 Caprice Classic with the digital dash, leather, power everything and 5.7 LT1. The grill, trunk, door molding, and the Impala doesn’t come with wood grain. I wouldn’t never put Impala SS on my car. I hate when people do that to any car.

I hear that a cold air intake gives it an honest 12-15 more hp and similar torque as it removes the "1st base" airflow baffle. You could swap out the intake (and keep the original parts for later resell) pretty easily.
Man I experienced exactly everything you mentioned in the video…I just got me a ‘94 and I love it the same! Right on, she looks sweet. Keep her like that!

LoL I also had the 9C1 Police package, you would not be able to tell, unless you knew what to look for.
If you are going to leave the interior alone, I'd at least get a catback exhaust on there. Keep the original and swap it back on if/when you sell it. It won't take up a bunch of space in storage. Otherwise, if you leave everything completely stock you'll just be listening to the wind on your drives, lol.

You are absolutely right about the "hood classic" I seen this in LA all the time when I was a kid
Make sure you get paint protection on it! Protect from scratches and rock chips

Perfect wheels and tires! It really does make the car pop!😊

Man, this is best 96 Impala I've seen in years. You right, this is the car everyone wanted to have back in the day. This is a gem.
This is a classic👌🏾It’s gonna look even better if you tint it. This Dope
