"5 Things I Hate..." You bought a Tudor 1926 and then gripe about it not having in-house movement, crown guards, free extra strap. Every single one of the things you dislike about the 1926, you could have gotten in another watch if you'd been willing to pay the price. You chose Tudor's entry level watch but hate that it didn't come with the upgrades that come stand ard on a premium-level watch. Schmuck.
For that price point (entry level), don't expect inhouse movements, it's only logical. The bracelet can be replaced by leather straps. Tudor 1926 do come in leather straps, why didn't you buy that instead?
A Tudor, in-house, 80 hour power reserve, extra leather strap, etc.... all under 2000 $ ??? not gonna happen, add another 1.5 - 2k and maybe you'll find one. A really nice reworked and regulated 2824 and everything else that this watch is including the level of details and quality for the money is awesome. Except for the last point you made, IMHO the rest makes no sense.
Andrej Trpovski last point makes complete sense because with the mirror finish you get a lot of scratches as you do with every other watch and I was explaining that I wish it was matte because I feel like it would scratch a lot less or not be as noticeable, makes complete sense, and btw I’m just saying my opinions so just keep that in mind.
Dude your nitpicking. I want a 1926. But I'm researching it. Mult leather bands are available. Entry point Tudor. Movement is by swatch group I believe... If you don't like it. Sell it.
Inhouse Caliber is nonsense at this price point - its too expensive for revision Matt finish on a dress watch? Wtf Crown is very good nothing to change Leather straps are available just buy Power reverse also overrated - you have a lot of watches so you always change your watches and its normal to set up the watch again. 40-60h are perfect And enough
Not the biggest fan of this video, but if it’s your first video I’ll cut you some slack. I liked, keep making progress, biggest thing is find a way to set the camera down so it’s 100% still, too much movement during the video. Keep trying though! Don’t give up
yeah he doesn't sound like he appreciates this watch especially since he's so worried about having an in house caliber even though it has a really nice ETA movement 😎👍
Good video and review. For me the hands look flimsy, its why I didn't get it. The movement is like 150-200$ Sellita or ETA movement I can't remember. But at this point, after you subtract out the 150$ for the Sellita or ETA movement, you got 1850$ left to get value out of it, and that is split between External appearance and Brand Name. To me it is not worth paying if we split out 900$ for the Brand name and 900$ for the looks. To me the hands make it look a bit cheap. the mirror finish is nice, though but its a bit to dressy in appearance. If they made it more sporty I might take a look at it again. I've tried it on before. It is a good starter dress watch if you put alot of value into having the Tudor Brand recognition though. If not you can pay half that and get a Hamilton Jazzmaster with visuals that you might enjoy more.
I'm on the fence about this and the BB 36 due to the non inhouse movements. I'm assuming they don't want to spend the $ for less popular models but I hope they get there 🙏
They’re both amazing watches anyway, they have both work horse movements that will never die if you take care of them, if you’re looking to buy one, 100% go get it, you can’t lose with any Tudors they are amazing watches
I feel like you bought this watch simply cuz of the Tudor name. This watch looks so old fashioned, very poor design, I think it would look silly on anyone under the age of 50.
No I definitely did not buy this watch for the name🤦🏻♂️, it’s your opinion to think what you think about this watch but it’s mine and I like it so that’s what matters
@@KeyserSoze774 ahh that makes sense 1926... No I'm rocking a Seiko Sumo haven't moved up to Swiss luxury yet but if I do I'll go with a Pelagos most likely
If you prefer "modern" looking watches, go for Invicta or Diesel, they are huge, tasteless and ugly but made for 18-35 fashion victims. Or to look more "sophisticated", go for a fake Bell & Ross or Hublot. This watch is elegant, and it's enough for watch lovers, when I buy a watch is for ME, not for the others.

Crown guards? Matte finish? You realize this is a dress watch and not a diver?
Man, your 5 things make me think you have the wrong watch. Go get a sport one!

Thanks for sharing this and helping with my decision to purchase the 1926. Am considering it to get real soon.
Thanks for the nice comment🙌

So you got the watch is there actually anything that you like about it ?
You get what you pay for. This watch just 2000 dollars. Don’t even think about in house movement at this price range
3000* and yeah I know but there are a few, but anyway, eta is still an excellent movement as hasn’t let me down
Hold still guy
Honestly I’m not sure if bay a Tudor 1926, longines master or Mont Blanc classic , your advice is really helpful

Would you swim or go in the ocean with it ? Do you trust the water resistance enough ?
You're literally wearing the watch incorrectly.
Bro- your fingernail isn’t scratching steel
nice looking watch at a nice price point. with that said, i haaate date functions on any watch doesn't look good to me at all.
That is funny because I will rarely buy a watch that doesn't have one. At work I prefer a day and date but need al least a date.
@@Simple_Jack82 Point well made on some watches it works I just bought a B&M riviera that has it and dont mind it lol
Is the watch daily a deep black or is it more of a dark charcoal grey?
Deep black

I never understood why you bought it when you hated it so much. Joke is all about complaining.
Didn’t hate it at all, In fact I love it, very hard to pick these 5 things
Where did you buy this watch. Its awesome looking!
I bought this at my local Rolex/Tudor authorized dealer
@@kohleharriss1636 where and how much? I would love to buy that.
Sounds like you should have bought a oris Aquis diver gmt

How did you figure out the bracelet sizing? No micro adjustments seems like a pretty large over sight on Tudor’s part.
jpizz88 I had my AD do the sizing
Good, honest review. keep it up!

I thought there was a leather strap option?
There is now, this video was made a while ago
regretable the dialmeter is only 39mm, others 1926 has 41mm.
Hamilton to a tudor, oh dear you plumb.
Does this watch have any lume?
No it unfortunately does not
Please learn how to focus.
🙏
Really dislike the "waffle" dial pattern. A plain, smooth, lacquered dial would have been a winner here.
