I am having trouble with some fabric (cloth) adhering to wood. Do you find some fabrics do better than others? Anything stretchy seems to have an issue for me.
Nope, didn't need to put it on top, because it held pretty well without it! You can always do a test area to see how it will look with Mod Podge on top. I imagine depending on the type of fabric you use, it might change the appearance of the fabric.
She didn't but you should do that to make it more durable coating. Even better would be to use polycrylic or similar polyurethane top coat for even better protection.
what material did you use? I was thinking about using satin lining in a wooden box. The reason why I ask is because it would generally be used to attach fabric to batting, wood, and satin (but I want the satin to look wavy/loose instead of flat like the project you showed). Thanks for the video, too. Very nice :)
Do you think i could do this with brown paper? its quite a good thickness, great colours on the front, found it in the pound shop 😊 Edit: I want to cover the whole cupboard door. I'll sand but im not sure what i should use to stick it there.
@@lovelybonesbogan the edge of a credit card works just fine with smoothing out material over whatever you're glueing it to. Sure, a brayer rolls, and flattens the material, but dragging the edge of a plastic card can work too.
@@ThriftDiving Hi there :) Your project turned out amazing. I do have a question. How is your project doing now, have you seen any major change in the material? Thank you in advance.
I've read if you put a coat on top it helps protect it a little more than leaving it bare.
Ulquiorragurl26 you need to put a topcoat such as Polycrylic over it. Don’t do as she says.
Thank you. It's 3023 and your video is still relevant 🎉❤😂😊

Does the glue bleed through the fabric?
Very cool, TY!
Can I attach tapestry on wooden surface using mod podge? Not a very heavy tapestry
Did you end up putting the Mod Podge on the top side of the fabric as well or just the inside against the wood?

Don’t put your brush in the jar like that 😣
AWESOME
I think she said it was modge podge
I have you ever tried using Fabric Mod Podge? I will try it and let you know, how it came out.
+Brenda Collins I hadn't tried it, but I do know they make it! I'll try that next! :)
The fabric stuff is washable! You can fix fabric to other fabric, wash and wear. So kool
I need a brayer
Lovely Bones not necessarily. A credit card will do.
@@jafallica Why do I need a credit card What are you talking about
@@lovelybonesbogan A credit Card to buy the Brayer.

Kesha, I'll bet a small rolling pin would work
Why have you not responded to anyone here?
Probably because I missed the comments. What would you like me to comment on?
