- On Friday, July 7th, I filmed Seattle police and fire units responding to a "scenes of violence" call in downtown Seattle. Thankfully the injuries were minor, and most SFD units were put back into service shortly after arrival.

Very nice catches! Been to many of these SOV7's (or AWW7's back in the day) and very hard to catch good footage with units staging. You did a great job!
Thank you Sam! I wish I'd gotten down there a little earlier, but I was lucky most of the units were coming in on the same street.
Nice catches! Cool to see Seattle does the "wait for police" thing for calls that may be dangerous for firefighters too!

Thanks! Yeah, SFD waits for the all-clear from PD before moving in. It caused some controversy after a shooting a few years back, but it definitely makes sense. And yep, your little birdy (or group text? 😀) was right - I had a fun time hanging out with Chris!
