I have a Video proposal for Teddy: how about a systematic explanation on how to dress up/down watches by changing bracelet or strap styles? What colors and styles to wear with a black/grey/brown suit? When to choose shiny croco vs. plain leather? Dark vs Light brown leather Straps?... For example: Seamaster-style dive watches with suits, croc vs. NATO.
Teddy never shows no love to the Omega Seamaster Chronographs. I recently bought an Omega Seamaster 300m Professional w/chronograph and I absolutely love it. Sometimes, when traveling, I'll use the chrono as a pseudo-GMT by running the chrono as a second time zone since the chrono is basically a little clock with and hour and minute hand on the right side of the watch. The Omega 9900 Calibre is both beautiful to look at and accurate. I love wearing that thing when I go boating or out to the beach
So many gems here. That Longines moon phase is gorgeous. The Breitling Premier and Navi are just iconic and classy. The Tudor panda is perfect and I love the Sinn. The zenith chronometer might be a must have in every collection who doesn’t want to spend on a Daytona.
that's fine b/c if you ever bought one of these, eventually the disappointment of paying so much for stopwatch precision that can be better handled by a $200 smartphone would extinguish your desire for watches in general
@jy5960 do you really enjoy watches if you have this kind of thinking though? I don't think you do. I think you enjoy 200 dollars smartphone a lot more
Every watch video has someone who leaves a comment on the obvious, that a smartphone tells time better. Duh and duh. Why are you even watching these RUclips channels on timepieces?
It’s nice to see the Monaco getting some love in these watch channels, finally. I love it so much, I have an older LE in the McQueen suit colors and the Cal.11 in the 39mm case. You’re right, it’s like absolutely nothing else, but I feel like it deserves to be considered alongside other iconic chronographs like the Speedmaster, El Primero, Daytona, and Navitimer.
For those of you interested in the Hanhart 417, they also now have a FLYBACK chrono for way under $3000, in panda or reverse panda! It's totally amazing.
Better in what respect? Do you actually use you're timer? Just curious,I have several & my Tudor Panda b01 movement is a horse & didn't cost anywhere near 10k$.
Teddy, I am a little disappointed you haven't mentioned the Chronographs I personally own! 1. Manero Flyback made by CARL F. BUCHERER and the Sixties Chronograph green dial made by GLASHÜTTE ORIGINAL
I really love Tudor. Right now I think I have seven Rolexes in my collection, but I went to a party last week and one of my friends I haven’t seen in a while had a tutor Black Bay. We swapped watches for a bit and I was so impressed with that. I know it’s not a chronograph, but the quality for the price I was blown away.
I nearly bought the Zenith. It's such a beautiful classic watch, and has great wearing dimensions especially for an automatic. But then i tried on a Speedy with the hesilite. That's what's on my wrist most days now. You won't be disappointed.
Chronograph used to be on the top of my list but it changed after knowing that the maintenance and service costs are far more expensive than the standard.
I have the Tudor gold two tone chrono with the black face also I have a 44mm Breitling superocean heritage chrono with the B01 movement. I bought the Tudor due to it also having the B01 movement which is a fantastic movement but I think the Tudor feels more silky smooth then the Breitling. Both beautiful watches.
Just got the Tudor black bay panda. I love the thing but Omega & Breitling will be getting a visit from me soon. Ill go reverse panda this time, that white is beautiful but can be hard to read at times.
The Hamilton 44 automatic chronograph day date converter on bracelet is a beast best watch for under 10k looks just like breitling navitimer. Many people thought it I was wearing a navitimer it’s only $2145.00. Crazy value. Wish it was in the list. It’s my only watch and it’s perfect for you can dress it up and down. I’m a man on a budget and wow was it hard to find one watch. My next piece is probably gonna be a Tudor black day or a speed master. Like teddy always says don’t go into debt to buy watch.
The navitimer 44 and the Hamilton converter 44 I put them next to each other I don’t see the over double in price to get a navitimer and you get no day just the date.
Love your videos Teddy, but I do wonder, any particular reason that you did not mention the Chopard Mille Miglia? I bought one last year and love it. With the Chronograph of course
Sometimes I’m scared because every time I think I’ll get xxx watch teddy makes a vid about exactly which type of watch I want. Scary… or probably more a sign^^
The longines master calendar chronographe in blue and leder blue bracelet is amazing. I am waiting to receive it very soon, a masterpiece for great price.
Saved the best for last IMO. I've got a Zenith A385 which is in a steel case, the form followed by the Shadow, basically a vintage reissue. The Originals are fabulous as well. All in all, a solid list.
love seeing the IWC pilot's chronograph 41 mentioned! i have it in the racing green dial on the brown leather strap and it is so killer and highly underrated.
I bought a watch from amzwatch lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.
I have a couple of chronographs. Specifically the Omega Seamaster Chronograph with the 9900 calibre and a Longines Steel Avigation Bigeye. I love both. However, the Bigeye (given it can be purchased for under $2k in the secondary) is an absolute no brainer. It’s gorgeous, especially on a NATO strap and operates beautifully. You don’t tend to see them in AD windows anymore so perhaps they are being phased out. Do yourself a favour and get yourself a pre owned Bigeye. Won’t break the bank and it’s a very impressive piece of horology. 👍🏻
Being a former Air Cadet and more recently a skydiver, I've spent a lot of time around aircraft and pilots. There is NO doubt whatsoever that the Navitimer is THE pilot watch. IF you are at a flying club bar most people there will be wearing a Navitimer. NO ONE uses the slide rule function for anything relating to flying or navigation, it's just TOO outdated, slow and overcomplex for use in todays crowded skies where keeping an eye open for other planes is essential. Everyone uses navigation computers and sat nav now, but the Navitimer is STILL the pilots watch. IF I was trying to give the impression of being a pilot, I'd probably go for one of the Laco ones instead, much prefer the less cluttered dials and the history behind the style.
Tried on a 42 Breitling Premier as I wanted the metal bracelet (16.5cm wrist) and I was amazed how the fit / feel was. I'll be buying it when I've saved a few more pennies.
Hey @teddy I absolutely love your content, the way you present it, and your passion for these little marvels. Your work has very much helped me on my journey of discovering brands, stories, and significance of watches. Finding hidden gems (Seagull 1963) and consolidating interests (A384). I am looking for a very under the radar piece now and was eyeing the meca-quartz models from Nivada Grenchen and Furlan Marri. It would be awesome if you could do a head to head of the two chronos. They both seem quite cool options for a given use and would be great to have your take on them.
I think the Cartier Santos Chronograph is actually a compelling choice in this range. Very different look with the square case and the "mono pusher" style.
I love your videos, even outside of my budget lol Could you talk a little about fluted bezels? I feel like they're mostly on Rolex or homages to Rolex, I wonder why it's not more common. It seemed more common in the 70s.
Beautiful Chronographs . I get one of the cheapest ones : the LONGINES Master Collection (triple calendar) . The speedmaster professional with a white DIAL, would be perfect.
This is now my favourite watch channel on RUclips , such great content and done superbly, well done sir and I got my favourite watch at amzwatch, it hasn’t left my wrist for weeks
The latest iterations of Hanhart chronos include flyback versions. 39 or 42mm, column wheel, panda or reverse panda, din standard WR 100m and antimagnetic 16,000 A/m, around £2000. Eat your heart out Longines.
I'm honestly surprised Breitling Super Chronomat is not even on the list....personally I think they look much cooler than the chronomat and less blingy.
Sugess Chrono with Venus movement, Hommage to Blancpain Air command, 350$, a dream watch. This Kind of movement is nearly the Same as in old Speedmasters. Why spend thousands of bucks? Got two of these nearly 6 month, no issues, perfect. Mechanical at his best!
Premier b01, and tudor bb chrono pink are my 2 favourites currently. Wish I could collect suche xpensive stuff, I would need to earn 10x more, at least.
What about Bucherer peripheral? On grey market they get close to $10k in gold! Also, what about skeletons in that price range? Chronoswiss and Zenithboffer some good ones cheap used. Who else? I know the Milla Miglia gets there, but what else? I need a skeleton, but I do not want to liquidate my collection to buy it.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE WATCH GIVEAWAY THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ANNOUNCED ON FEB 24th? I cant find any information regarding the contest. Thanks
Zenith is so hard to beat in this price range. Assuming it was readily available at retail, I'm not even sure why you'd go with the Daytona over the Chronomaster Original (maybe the Triple Calendar if you want to be close to the same price). Technologically, the Zenith is far superior so guess it just comes down to brand recognition
Finally, affordable chronographs under $10.000
😂
just wait til everyone discovers quartz chronographs 😂
Get some motion lil bro
😂
😂
I have a Video proposal for Teddy: how about a systematic explanation on how to dress up/down watches by changing bracelet or strap styles?

Just ask you're wife!
Currently eyeing on the Longines master chrono, the more I look at it the more stunning it becomes.
Teddy never shows no love to the Omega Seamaster Chronographs.

The Omega 9900 Calibre is both beautiful to look at and accurate.
I love wearing that thing when I go boating or out to the beach
Because its a diver. Most people do not care about a chrono diver.
So many gems here. That Longines moon phase is gorgeous. The Breitling Premier and Navi are just iconic and classy. The Tudor panda is perfect and I love the Sinn. The zenith chronometer might be a must have in every collection who doesn’t want to spend on a Daytona.
I have several chronos, Omega silver snoopy ,Tudor Panda.. Love these things, have to put most on an Everest rubber strap. They wear great on a strap.
I enjoy watching videos of watches I can’t afford 💯
that's fine b/c if you ever bought one of these, eventually the disappointment of paying so much for stopwatch precision that can be better handled by a $200 smartphone would extinguish your desire for watches in general
@@jy5960 thats not the point of luxury watches
@jy5960 do you really enjoy watches if you have this kind of thinking though? I don't think you do. I think you enjoy 200 dollars smartphone a lot more
Every watch video has someone who leaves a comment on the obvious, that a smartphone tells time better. Duh and duh. Why are you even watching these RUclips channels on timepieces?
Preach on . I’ve always had champagne tastes on a beer budget. 😂
It’s nice to see the Monaco getting some love in these watch channels, finally. I love it so much, I have an older LE in the McQueen suit colors and the Cal.11 in the 39mm case. For those of you interested in the Hanhart 417, they also now have a FLYBACK chrono for way under $3000, in panda or reverse panda! It's totally amazing.
Zenith IMO is the best chorological value under $10k! Thanks Teddy!
Better in what respect? Do you actually use you're timer? Just curious,I have several & my Tudor Panda b01 movement is a horse & didn't cost anywhere near 10k$.

They wear bigger than a Daytona, have better diving specs & cost thousands less.
I nearly bought the Zenith. It's such a beautiful classic watch, and has great wearing dimensions especially for an automatic.
But then i tried on a Speedy with the hesilite. That's what's on my wrist most days now. You won't be disappointed.
Breitling and chronographs go together like peanut butter and jelly. 😅
Nice selections too.
breitling all the way!
Useful for me.. I use mine almost every day for timing
Cool
I find myself looking for things to time! Lol I think ill make a hard boiled egg!
Breitling is just darn gorgeous 😍 24:27
I have the Sinn 356. It's perfect. It definitely gets the most wrist time of my collection.
I’m a fan of the vintage Seiko chronographs
Chronograph used to be on the top of my list but it changed after knowing that the maintenance and service costs are far more expensive than the standard.
Yeah and the quartz ones use so much battery. I think the most low maintenance chronograph is the solar Seiko Speedtimer.

I've got the regular non chronograph version because I couldn't afford a Breitling and even on a small wrist it wears well
The navitimer 44 and the Hamilton converter 44 I put them next to each other I don’t see the over double in price to get a navitimer and you get no day just the date.
I got the Tudor Panda BB, I love the white but I think the black would be easier to read.
teddy: "the chronograph is the most popular complication"
date complication: "am i a joke to you?"
It's the 21st century, time only watch shouldn't exist ahah
I own the Tudor Black Bay Panda Chrono. The Rado looks really nice
Just got mine, can't stop singing it praises! Also don't want to wear anything else..
Hanhart is my pick. Love mine.
Great presentation and production. Indeed such classic pieces.
So many cool options
I’m thinking white speedy pro is my next purchase
I bought a watch from amzwatch lightly used for my last milestone birthday. Don't wear it as much as it deserves, but not afraid to, either. It's stunning . Good taste, Sir.
Love your channel with so many stellar watches! For me the MAMACOO’ watch is my favorite. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.
Great video, as always. Nice round up.
Thanks for having the Fortis Novonaut in that list!
2022 Tudor Panda never worn full set w/stickers i picked up for 4k$,thats the best deal &my favorite..

The Speedmaster 57 is gorgeous
The El Premiro in green with green RubberB looks amazing
Omega Moonwatch, IWC Portugieser and Breitling Navitimer look good to me
Can’t go wrong with either of those 3. All timeless classics.
Tried on a 42 Breitling Premier as I wanted the metal bracelet (16.5cm wrist) and I was amazed how the fit / feel was. I'll be buying it when I've saved a few more pennies.
I have a seagul 1963 chrono. Love it. (Until I have to get it serviced)
Hey @teddy I absolutely love your content, the way you present it, and your passion for these little marvels. greate collection, especially this one with a green dial, it really needs a big watch box to store so many styles.
Great vid Ted!
Roger Moore wore that tissot as James Bond, it was even miss printed as a rolex in their large green coffee table book!
I thought the new Tissot might make it in here, as it’s WELL below $10,000 and it looks like a stunning piece. Would love to see a review
I think the Cartier Santos Chronograph is actually a compelling choice in this range. Very different look with the square case and the "mono pusher" style.
Revue Thommen (Swiss Made) Chronographs with mechanism ETA7750 or Sellita SW 510 Price from around 1000$ till 1500$...
What colour option is the IWC PORTUGIESER ? I am looking at their website and cant find it, looks like something between blue nad green
I love your videos, even outside of my budget lol
Could you talk a little about fluted bezels? I feel like they're mostly on Rolex or homages to Rolex, I wonder why it's not more common. It seemed more common in the 70s.
Found the right video for my previous question. Thoughts on Chopard Mille Miglia 1000?
i want more brands to adopt bronze and brass in their material choices. 80+ years ago 90%+ pocket watches were still made from brass.
I actually use the tachymeter more than the timing function on my speedy
Excellent review Teddy… you really covered the gamut.
Beautiful Chronographs . I get one of the cheapest ones : the LONGINES Master Collection (triple calendar) . The speedmaster professional with a white DIAL, would be perfect.
I have a Movado Circa crono on brown leather belt w/ gold case whit face. It was under a thousand & A beautiful watch. I never hear any talk about em.
This is now my favourite watch channel on RUclips , such great content and done superbly, well done sir and I got my favourite watch at amzwatch, it hasn’t left my wrist for weeks
I have a Hanhart 417 flyback reverse panda. It is unbelievable, especially for how little they cost.
how is the accessibility on the white OMEGA Speedmaster?
What are your thoughts on the Seiko srq047 and srq049?
I personally really like the zodiac sea chron in the $2500-$3000 range.
I agree. Unfortunately too big for me at 42mm. So I went for a Sea Wolf.
I’m wearing my Hanhart 417 ES watching this Teddy!😎 It’s currently available here in Australia for $1,747 USD!🤤👍🏼🇦🇺
instead of the speedmaster 38 I think the racing is a better buy. Nice list.
I know this is going to be controversial but the new Speedmaster 38 is worlds above the old reduced. It is a MAGNIFICENT watch
The latest iterations of Hanhart chronos include flyback versions. 39 or 42mm, column wheel, panda or reverse panda, din standard WR 100m and antimagnetic 16,000 A/m, around £2000. Eat your heart out Longines.
Almost 1 million subs...Wow ❤
Saved the best for last.
But miring the Hanhart tbh. Very tempting at the price.
Love the Monaco and Navitimer.
Hey Teddy, what about the Breitling Top Time?
I'm honestly surprised Breitling Super Chronomat is not even on the list....personally I think they look much cooler than the chronomat and less blingy.
I really want that speedmaster white face with the red text. I like it better than the much vaunted daytona.
From what I understand, Breitling certifies all their movements. Perhaps that's why there is no writing on the dial?
Sugess Chrono with Venus movement, Hommage to Blancpain Air command, 350$, a dream watch. This Kind of movement is nearly the Same as in old Speedmasters. Why spend thousands of bucks? Got two of these nearly 6 month, no issues, perfect. Mechanical at his best!
Hi Teddy, are you able to review the new micro brand Pitzmann ? Thank you.
Teddy, what did you mean with "you have to adjust for different parts of the year" with the Longines Master Complication? Could you explain?
It doesn’t account for the number of days in the month so you have to adjust depending on when the new month begins
Do one for GMTs
I know its a quartz BUT, My vote is the Citizen Blue Angels chrono. AT 8020. For reliability, accuracy and a daily.
I will get a Navi soon … amazing machine 🎉🎉
Premier b01, and tudor bb chrono pink are my 2 favourites currently. Wish I could collect suche xpensive stuff, I would need to earn 10x more, at least.
Please make video about Pilot watches🙏
Love the Breitling 👏
What about Bucherer peripheral? On grey market they get close to $10k in gold!
Also, what about skeletons in that price range? Chronoswiss and Zenithboffer some good ones cheap used. Who else? I know the Milla Miglia gets there, but what else?
I need a skeleton, but I do not want to liquidate my collection to buy it.
Let’s go 1 million!
Its all fun and games until its time to service a chrono.
A good incentive to learn how to do it yourself
Have 6 on the list!
I like the Tudor
I have to say that AMZWATCH 's watches are amazing!
I love the Monaco, but I could never wear it. 6 1/4" wrist here.
One thing to keep in mind with mechanical chronographs: service and maintenance costs. Especially flybacks. Ask me how I know.
How do you know?
Same video from 10k to 20k would be awesome.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE WATCH GIVEAWAY THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ANNOUNCED ON FEB 24th?
I cant find any information regarding the contest.
Thanks
It is always 10:10 at Teddy's...
My tag huer carrera 160 anniversary is just the best
It’s a pitty that Frederique Constant isn’t mentioned. They have a cool Highlife chronograph
How about the Omega white dial Speedmaster aka Polar Bear?
"Tested as you might've guessed...in SPACE!"
"Ok, maybe you didn't guess that, but maybe you should've!"
10:28

great work.
