- The #Iberianlynx risked becoming the first big cat to fall into #extinction since the sabre-tooth tiger died out 10,000 years ago. By 2002, the wild cat's numbers had plummeted to fewer than 100.
But now, authorities and conservation groups have managed to reverse the trend.

Es una especie de lince qe solo vive en iberia. Hay sobre todo en Andalucía castilla la mancha Extremadura y algarve
Many more efforts must be done to teach the rural populations about the importance of wildlife diversity.
One of the reintroduced Iberian lynxes in Portugal was immediately poisoned by locals.

First big cat to fall into extinction since sabre tooth 🧐 whom u r kidding, giving incorrect details. What about tiger sub species Javanese, Balinese and Caspian that were forced to extinction in the last century, aren't they big cats 😡.
Your comment Itself explains your complaint. They are SUB-SPECIES of tiger and not a standalone species. 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
@@tiru7784 I specified that knowing it will be given as a reply but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't take responsibility of its extinction and roll it out of the list
