Lynxs look really majestic.
We love the Iberian Lynx. Keep them safe! 🇵🇹
its fantastic to hear some positive conservation stories. Well done to Spain for reintroducing the beautiful Lynx
And Portugal as well
@@Safirajuro C'omon my friend, you know very well they think Portugal is Spain even though Portugal (Country) exists almost for a 1000th! years? 😅
Portugal also.
That lynx bouncing away without even looking back was pure satisfaction
So cute ❤
My God they are stunning looking animals
Yeah I agree, one of the most beautiful creature on the planet

"HOLY SHIT just look at that thumbnail"
My 9 year old and I just watched this. I was telling him conservation is so important to our planet and we need to ensure these beautiful cats don't become extinct.
Not only cats...all creatures
@@rsquareaaron1094 that goes without saying
What happens when these cats grow in population and become bold enough to enter human homes and take children as an evening snack? Let's be careful because we are so far removed from nature that we forget that it is dangerous and we forget what it means to be on the menu of another predator. These cats look big enough to take a baby from its pram.
@@dibdap2373 maybe in wild areas, not in spain or portugal (their only location around the world)
@@dibdap2373 That's relatively unlikely as most wild animals will want to stay away from humans. A cat the size of a lynx will want to remain invisible to a human (rightfully so if you ask me) but giving the benefit of the doubt, the animal will have to be on the brink of death from starvation and is desperately trying to find food for it to even think about going after people for food
By far..the most handsome cat I Ever seen
Thank you for your hard work and effort, to bring these beautiful cats back from the brink of extinction. 🌎💞💕🌏😘
By now (2023) there is an aproximate population of more than 1700 linxes in the wild, and ever since the start of this reintroducing project more and more areas are being populated with them. This very year 2 more regions have a small number of lynxes which hopefully might be the seed of new populations. It is being an extraordinary effort and it's a pride for all spaniards and portuguese
This is indeed the most beautiful cat in tne wild!!!! 💓
Thats because they are Spanish 😏😏
Great job everyone for taking the remarkable initiative of saving the endangered lynx.
I love how they look a bit like a rabbit when running; tiny tail up in the air, leaping, muscular legs.
What are you talking about? A cat looks nothing like a rabbit. My cat's favorite food is rabbit.

It's sad how we humans push animals to almost being extinct only to realize what we are doing is wrong when it's almost too late..
@Astro Bastro no we don't humans have caused hundreds of different species to go extinct
@Astro Bastro Sure but we'll be the cause of the death of 50% or more of the life forms on earth lol.. that's pretty drastic even in evolutionary terms.
Not saying anything will change that, but it is a sad and true fact.
I got news for you...its already too late..in the next 10 years all the big cats will be gone...as will elephants, bears, most sharks and others.
@@allmightoneforall1338 Other animals also cause animals to go extinct. Animal species have been going extinct for a lot longer than we have existed. Most of the time the cause of extinction by humans isn't done out of malice, it's done by how we shape the natural world to better suit our own needs. It's just inevitable that when one species is successful others die off and that is how it has been since time immemorial. We are THE only species in the world that try to protect animals and ensure their survival. I'm so sick of seeing people trash humans like they're a stain on the world. Many do care and it's pretty clear that we do. But why take it as an opportunity to hate ourselves when we've contributed positively more than at any other time in our own history let alone the history of the planet as a whole.
@@jaysonthorne3336 lol, right? By the time boomers can admit there's a problem literally 80% of large animals will be gone that were here in the 80s.
Denial is one hell of a drug.
Thank you for helping these magnificent cats
Such a beautiful cat 🐱
Such a beautiful animal
I have high hopes for the youngest generation. Maybe they'll care enough about preserving the earth's ecosystems to come together around fixing the problems created by those who came before them. Earth should be a verdant paradise, not an industrial desert, and I think it comes down to what we value as individuals.
Watching the younger generation I must say I have a more pessimistic views.
Sustainability student here. We can try, but it is surely not easy. But as long as it is not impossible to do something against it, people will do something against it. And in my opinion more and more people are starting to change things, it is starting bottom-up
@@isoinic9141 more and more people, that is the major problem. There are more and more people on Earth...there more and more people sho do not care and vice versa.
@@borizovskimilan even on a planet with 100 mio humans it would be possible to destroy the environment. It is less about how many people there are, but more about how they behave and how they are doing business.
Pure rationale, cooperation would be the best solution to it, but this probably won't happen on its own terms.
Many of them eat tide pods and or have gender dysphoria and won't even preserve their genitals. They will waste their money on that instead of donating to conservation efforts. To make matters worse their prescription hormones will put chemicals in the water that will turn the freaking frogs gay.
A truly amazing feat by many dedicated individuals over many years to ensure the recovery of this wild cat headed for certain extinction. Just for info, this Iberian Lynx (Lynx pardinus) is a separate species and genetically distinct to the Eurasian Lynx (Lynx lynx) that occurs in the rest of Europe.
I remember see them in Portugal when I was little! Then they became less and less as wild rabbits disappeared too! I hope you can stop their possible extinction
Nature and wildlife is precious. We must do all we can to protect and conserve them!
What a Beautiful Cat!!
2:23 The cutest pest.
Beautiful animal. Save him!
The linx is also being introduced successfully in southern Portugal!

I love this channel so much! Such majestic footage!!
God Bless those people who care about lynx and other endangered species, I pray that you have all the support, spiritual strength and passionate dedication to continue in your valuable effort in saving the species endangered or not. I wish that more persons like you should propagate, because people who value wildlife nowadays are getting rare. Thank so much and take care always.
Beautiful cats
Simply wonderful conservation! How Beautiful the Lynx! 💖
The documentary is very good 👏👏. There are very complicated images to record. We also recorded and photographed the Iberian lynx😺 and to record 5 minutes you have to spend many days in the bush. We have to keep this animal from becoming extinct, and in its habitat one of the biggest problems is roads and accidents, every year some lynx die. 😥
Such beautiful, agile creatures, I love the beautiful lynx, it makes me sad it has suffered so much. It's good now efforts are being made to support its numbers now. 🙏✌
2022 update: There’s over 1100 of these guys now!
They're absolutely beautiful. Keep up the conservation efforts 😊
What good fellows! Such beauty must be preserved.
Such beautiful majestic animals! Cats are my favorite, they have such an allure and mystery about them like no other animal does, the lynx especially! 😍🤗😻🐯🦁🐈🐈🐈🐾🐾🍄❤️💙💛

Humans needs to protect this beautiful cat
Where I live we've got lynx crossing point signals to be aware of. I live really close to Doñana, one of the places with the most of Iberian lynx population

Their agility is stunning! Wow
Save the lynx !!! Beautiful creatures ❤️
That is, hands down, one of the most beautiful animals I've ever seen!😮🥰
Damn, humans just ruining like every other life.
Hey, give us some credit. We're pretty adept at destroying our own, as well.
We should just eradicate all animal and insect and plant life. Then no worries. And yes I am being very sarcastic.
Kate Soloman, no.
You’re onto something...
Let’s do it! No animals, no plants, no worries! Can’t cry about endangered lynx if there are no endangered lynx! This is one helluva concept!

They are truly beautiful! Sad there are so few. Like all animals that have no habitat because there are too many humans!
Stunning dear
Those badass cats have wonderful beards lol
I’ve only ever seen one, unfortunately it was ( dead ) on the side of the road in a National Park in central Spain. Couldn’t stop and photograph it, as there were NO lay-by apart from one picnic area in the whole Park.
The road was brand new, and apart from one Lorry Drive coming around a bend on our side of the road be hardly saw another vehicle !

The reintroduction of the species in other areas has allowed the population to rebound and grow to 1110. Still endangered but not nearly as bad as they were.

Rather say thanks to Spain there weren't none left in Portugal a fews years ago Spanish governments have done a lot to bring them back 👍what's fair is fair mate
@@kevinperera1320 It's incredible how portuguese people really think they did anything at all, literally spanish associations asked the eu for the money, and all the work was made in Spain, it's even amusing.

Good for the lynx and Portugal!

The women mentioned that just pay attention porcho!!
@tusoi Unpero I'm surprised it let you pet it and didn't run away
Maybe some of the Spanish and Portugese Lynx can be swapped to ensure a healthier gene pool.
Got a name for one right off the bat. "Muttonchop". 😊
Interesting though that their mane resembles an Egyptian pharaohs headdress.
lived in southern spain for 10 years, saw one once climb the mountain. have 6 cats 1 mum but different fathers and one of them is a bit lynxy
good video.
Actions like these need to happen to all endangered species
Theres a reproduction centre In Portugal which is breeding iberian lynx to protect from extinction most lynx there stay for about 10 months then they get released into the wild soon they will be more and more lynx living in Portugal
Beautiful moggo
I am a zoology student.
watching from Bangladesh. 👌👌
Good luck saving the Sundarban tigers.
I'm a dentist. Watching from Spain
Magnificent cat
This cat now thinks she is a lion,
In its agility and other aspects she's even superior to lions!
But in her inability to work in a group as a team, or adapt to water, teach their young to hunt water buffalo, elephants, but they’re definitely phenomenal and worthy of protection efforts in celebration of their own awesome traits!
@@MartsEntertainment Tigers can a lot of that better and do it alone. So maybe she thinks she is a tiger.
@@MartsEntertainment oh yeah. Spain has plenty buffaloes and elephants. This lynx is also very small. Looks larger than in real life
I see a tiger in every cat. Every cat is great!
Did....did that rabbit make the Don't Starve Jackelope sound when the lynx caught it?!
I remember that lynx kittens tend to commit fratricide, they kill their sibling.
Usually the Iberian lynx can give birth to a pair of kittens or just one, but when 2 or more are born one lynx kitten will kill the other.
They deserve to go extcint then
@@Fgway ye im sure the kittens knew it. Dont argue, let them die off.
Hoomans do that too in china, etc
I think it's instinctive. Animals can sense that they're sick or something's wrong. Cats don't do this when they have all the resources (prey, shelter, territory) they need to survive.
@@logicalthinker8418 It's the same with the golden eagle just one chick usually survives
