      @@capturedflame That is amazing how they do all this. I heard that other animals can live in the dam during winter. Also, the baby beavers stay for two years before moving on to build their own dams. So you will have the two-year-old siblings and one-year-old siblings living with the parents. I wonder how cute is is to imagine that there is a human version of this. A life-like robot, pretending to be your friend, watching, filming and recording your every move and feeding all the information back to the ‘controller’ who makes an assessment of the information. 🤗 Soo cute 😍😍

  • @ontoya1

    I never realized how much personality beavers can have in their faces. So like what do the muskrats do? I am assuming they help the beavers trim the dams with excessive leaves or something like that so they don't have to do it themselves?

    • @romangalo3395
      @romangalo3395 2 года назад +31

      the relationship between beavers and muskrats is not symbiotic, but commensialistic. The muskrats dont't actually need to help the beavers in any way. Beavers simply tolerate them, because they don't do any harm, while the muskrats gain the food they need as a side effect of the beavers activities.

      ”Muskrats, with their small, slender bodies, can easily navigate the cattail forest that grows in a marsh. The much larger beaver cannot. As the muskrats feed on cattails they clear channels that the beaver can easily navigate.”

    I have to wonder, have the spy animals have ever filmed a poacher or hunter before? It would be a pretty funny happenstance, that’s for sure. And an expensive one if they shot the spy cam! I can just imagine the looks on their faces when an apparent animal explodes into machinery XD
