I’m a woman and when I was single, I learned to drop the mindset of “wait till the guys come to you” type of entitlement that a lot of us were taught and told since we were little. I also hate when guys used cheesy pickup lines on me, so I just started just saying “hey you’re really handsome” or something like that. Never actually had a “pickup line”, but I did learn that it’s okay to approach the guy first, and it helps with confidence. Didn’t work every time, and sometimes that hurt but that’s okay. I think rejection can be good and a learning experience.

I’m a woman and when I was single, I learned to drop the mindset of “wait till the guys come to you” type of entitlement that a lot of us were taught and told since we were little. I also hate when guys used cheesy pickup lines on me, so I just started just saying “hey you’re really handsome” or something like that. Never actually had a “pickup line”, but I did learn that it’s okay to approach the guy first, and it helps with confidence. Didn’t work every time, and sometimes that hurt but that’s okay. I think rejection can be good and a learning experience.
