    Why not one day (maybe "off season") an interview of yourself with the questions you would like to have been asked but no one asked you so far ?
    And why not a TP interview ? Technically we see him as often as you >__

    Very particular setting on the rear shock… from the “low” psi for the rider weight, but most for the rebound…seems a lot slow, like easy to pack down on fast rocky section…. Very interesting

    how do you like the cannibals? recently swapped to from gravity t9 butchers and have been enjoying the upgrade. they seem to run at a much lower psi than I was running the butchers. I'm 195lb, on a transition spire with cushcore front and rear. was running 25 in the butchers but they cannibal seems to like it more around 18-20psi, which to me is really low. the sidewall feels way more stout than the butchers though. tons more grip. the cannibal seems to really like being rode super aggressive

    Have had a stumpy evo. Now have enduro. My home mtn is super, super rough and the enduro is definitely better there, but it is a handful on tight trails. Interesting that they are racing more of the slow, tight stuff

    • @Chazmaztv
      @Chazmaztv  Год назад +3

      Yea the euro trails seem to be pretty tight. So hard to know the trade-offs during a race. At some point you just have to choose a bike that feels comfortable and commit to it!

    Hey Chaz! I'm in the market for a Stumpy evo, same height as you (182), however am considering an s3 size frame. Have you tried an s3 and if so how did it feel? Cheers mate and nice work this season!

    • @Chazmaztv
      @Chazmaztv  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hey! Yes I actually was riding on the S3 for a year before going onto the S4. It still worked well for me but it was super playful and maybe not quite stable enough for Enduro World Cup racing. I loved riding it but never raced it. Depends if you're riding for fun and like smaller playful bikes or you want something a bit longer and more stable. Thanks for the props too!

    Im bought a stump evo s-works a few months ago.
    I have some headset problems.
    Just wondering if you’re running with the original fsa or are you running something else?
    I have to tighten them every ride basically..
    Best regards, Hampus

    • @Chazmaztv
      @Chazmaztv  Год назад +1

      Haven’t tried the link or the 170mm fork but super happy with the current setup! Trying to keep it a bit more responsive and steep head angle for the tight stuff

  • @TFritz82
    @TFritz82 Год назад +1

    Also, impressive fork pressure at around 82 kilos, considering how progressive the new Debonair+ is in the new Lyrik. Also, for the skeptics and haters, if you go by the Sram release data for both the 2020 Zeb and 2023 Lyrik, the new Lyrik is only 1% LESS torsionally rigid than the current Zeb!

    • @Chazmaztv
      @Chazmaztv  10 месяцев назад +1

      That's super interesting about the torsional stiffness I hadn't looked into it.

  • @digital2k6
    @digital2k6 Год назад +2

    Not sure how you're not bottoming the hell out of the Super Deluxe with your suspension settings. I have the Cascade link and 1 spacer in the linear can. At 28% sag I bottom it a ton and I'm not at EWS speeds.

    • @digital2k6
      @digital2k6 Год назад +1

      Also, that fork pressure is insanely high. Rebound on fork looks very fast due to that pressure and rear shock rebound extremely slow for that pressure. Very interesting.

    • @Chazmaztv
      @Chazmaztv  Год назад +1

      Very good points. Love me set-up at the moment but TP and I are going to get the motion IQ system out later in the year so that will give us some more info

    I think my EVO BB is too low even with a 170 fork and short chain stay with 170mm cranks. What length cranks are you running?

    • @AUSTIN_RIDES
      @AUSTIN_RIDES Год назад +1

      Yeah I’m running a 170 fork also and the low setting still feels really low when rocks are around, slack setting up top and high rear seems the sweet spot, chain stays still quite long even in the short setting. Looks like Kevin his teammate is running the short chain stay setting.

    • @Chazmaztv
      @Chazmaztv  Год назад +2

      Yep it's pretty low but I like the stability. Remember my front and rear sag is less than recommended so the whole bike is probably sitting higher
