Hey thanks for this video. I was trying to find more info about the boat to Oia fearing it didn't run anymore. I feel some relief now. We'll be on Celebrity also. Glad to know that early tender doesn't seem necessary as we only want to explore Oia and then bus to Fira for the rest of the day. Thanks for the over view.
Great video. We’re also taking a celebrity cruise that goes to Santorini. How did you know when to book your reservation at the winery and cocktail bar, and still have enough time to make it to the ship on time?
Overestimate is key. For winery when did mid day to give us flexibility, the cocktail bar sunset was at 7:45, last tender 9:30pm. So we knew booking that cocktail that if the line was long at all for cable car we’d have to walk down. From time we left cocktail bar to time we got in the tender line was maybe 25 mins. So for cocktails we booked earliest time slot, asked for bill when we ordered so we could jump out as soon as sun set. Santorini becomes a lot more doable if you just resign yourself to walking down the stairs. Because that’s saves you likely a hour or two of waiting.
Different bus, it was a city bus we picked up in Fira. We told the driver as we got on we wanted to stop there and he stopped near it (quick 2 min walk to it). Coming back there was a bus stop.
Can you tell me more about how to get a tender ticket? We get to Santorini on day 5 of our cruise, how early in the cruise can I get my ticket? Or do I need to stand in line that morning? I really would like to do the speedboat to Oia like you did but there are 5 ships (3 large) in port that day. Almost ready to book a RC exclusion in a different language!
We purposely held back as we were there all day so didn’t feel the need to get off at 8am. By the time we went to get tender tickets at 10am it was essentially for immediate boarding. They are big tenders so I think if you get a ticket 30 mins before you want to leave you’d be fine. Celebrity gave them out in the martini bar mid ship. Heads up even excursions you still need to wait in line for cable car. Three two ways to top are walk, cable car or taxi by boat to Oia.

May have the contact of the cocktail bar? I would like to make a reservation like you do. Great video. Thank you
The bus that you took to Venetsanos winery, was that the same bus that was included in your transfer or did you take a different bus?

Any idea if the winery and cocktail lounge are family friendly?
Yes both family friendly, or rather nothing saying kids weren’t allowed
