Your static shots are great, you really know how to put yourself in the frame. In fact, for a one person operation, your videos are extremely well made and edited. Thanks for this series of videos on Greece... it was super entertaining to follow you around.
Our last 2 nights in Santorini, we rented a car and stayed near Akrotiri. It was so peaceful after the crowds and noise of Oia and Fira. we had a perfect caldera view from our room.
I returned from Santorini yesterday and after watching your videos before going travelling around Greece, we have also decided to do the hike from Fira to Oia! Such an amazing experience! Thank you so much for this amazing idea! 🤭✨
What I actually liked about your videos is that you express your opinion honestly even if you don't like something, you're not like the vloggers that present everything ideal or they say that everything is great in the places they go. I appreciate that, because the videos are really helpful if you want to visit those places.
Santorini is truly a unique place. This is because there is no other place where buildings come together in such a blend of white and a hint of blue. The rounded dome shapes and the absence of sharp corners in the walls provide a sense of comfort to anyone who sees them. It is a healing experience in itself. The blue sea stretching out below only adds to the magnificence of this place, making it even more special.
I think two/three days here is all that's needed. I'd spend the rest of your time at the other islands like Milos where it's significantly less crowded but the views and beaches/catamaran rides are much much better imo. 40 euros for an uber just to zip around Santorini is quite honestly insane.
New subscriber here. Your editing is awesome. We're learning so much from other creators. Santorini in the summer is a hard pass for me. But we loved being there in October!
This video just convinced me to change my 3 night Santorini trip to a 2 night one haha. It's a beautiful island, but I agree that it looks like you don't need too long here!
I am afraid now so much. I am thinking if ONE night will also be ok? Around 1000€ for 2 nights of crowds - i am so afraid right now! What do you think? 1 night enough?
Thank you for these vlogsss!!! Love your vibe and this is helping me see different ways to travel in Greece! Super helpful to get a picture of what it’s like before I travel there solo as well :) also in general love your vlogging style! I’m happy there’s these kinds of travel videos!!
This girl is presenting Santorini on a budget and is missing so much including the wonderful historical offerings of Santorini. When you are staying in one room by yourself on 50 Euros and eating Gyros - you are limited. Some of the exceptional and romantic accommodation, incredible restaurants, boating opportunities and historical sights really make Santorini special. Even some time in Pyrgos is wonderful - something she is not considering. There are some great little beaches you can also access by boat. I agree that July and August are not the best times to visit - too many people. These vlogs can provide some nice shots of the scenery and one person's often narrow perspective - but there are many ways to experience a location.

I went to Santorini this June and was blown away by its beauty. You just have to be prepared it's touristy place. However for me only center of Fira was too much on that point. Highlight was definitely a walk between Fira and Oia and best town was Pyrgos.
Nice video. Did you take the bus back to fira? Planning a one night stay in Santorini in early November . This seems like something I would be interested in doing.
A lot of photos and videos of Santorini you see online make it seem it's a relatively tranquil place... She basically made an expectations vs reality point because of that.
We stayed in Alkotiri in the south. Check out the best view on Santorini from The Edge restaurant. Still managed to do Fira and Oia in one day. They're wonderful, but so cramped.
Love your video! I went to santorini 2times in last year. In May and October when is not a high season. I had an amazing time but I want to say October was little better than may. Because water wasn't that cold, so I can spend some good times in the water often. And I definitely want to go back. Never enough ❤
I don't agree with some points this girl mentions and it also shows that she herself lacks quite a lot of knowledge not just of Greece but also of Santorini. Which is to be expected but the unfortunate part is that they come across as "this is the real knowledge" when it's swiss cheese knowledge with more holes in it than you can count. And she has already made more videos in which she said things that clearly is not reflecting the actual truth whatsoever. 1). The island *Also this girl yet again is not correct in her information. It's the same as some other people who arent educated enough when they speak.* She says you can do a lot on other islands and that this is the reason there isn't that much on the island to do. And there are more sites on the island you can visit and hike. You can do a boat tour, and since the caldera is one of a kind with many gorgeous geology beauties around the island, a boat tour will make you admire it. You cant see it from your hotel or place of staying. You can visit the center of the island and swim in natural hotsprings in a unique Santorini way. there is a light house on the south end. Santorini also has black and red sand beaches and I would find the red sand beach more impressive. But if people go to Greece and visit Santorini as their to go to place and then go swimming at black sand beaches, they could have expected something else. In the sense that there is nothing wrong with these beaches. They are perfect. But these are black pebbles or sand and they absorb all the light. So you don't have those immensely blue colors that you have in many other types of beaches in Greece. Hence its again what you should expect. Which is based on your knowledge. I was just there last week and was a bit dissapointed with how rude alot of the the people there are including majority of the bus drivers. go to Naxos
oh no! theres too many people during the hot season....ok
Going alone to santorini on a budget is a bad bad idea.
If you do not have a motorbike or car in Santorini, you will not enjoy all that this island has to offer
Hate on? Where's the grammar? Nothing to do? Book some cruises, they're not too expensive and offer lots of adventure, culture and sights.
Not really good advice. There is plenty to do. And for some good advice on how to manage crowds Skip this video. if you are looking for someone who has something to say there are other videos by other travellers.
thats beacuse people go to the wrong places at the wrong time xD
I was just there last week and was a bit dissapointed with how rude alot of the the people there are including majority of the bus drivers. Views are amazing but as a whole santorini was not what I expected. Over priced and over hyped. Rather do other islands next time. Milos was beautiful and more peaceful, less hectic
I found the bus drivers to be very abrasive but they did help me out trying from point a to point b. I found the other travelers to be SUPER rude.
@@outlandguide definitely super abrasive which made the whole experience stressful as far as bus system goes and yes even some of the people for some reason were rude as well which added to the disappointment
Visited that place. One day is enough.Nothing much to do. With donkey poops that are left to dry in their cobble stone street. My excitement faded too soon when I was there.
