OMG I can't stop myself from watching your videos, again and again, the way you enjoy every little moment with yourself is just incredible, I love people who make fun with their own company. Keep going Giiiirl !!!
l pitty you for you'll never get to have a lapmb's head roasted for 2 or 3 hours as an entrada or main meal. Juicy eyes, tender cheeks, soft brains and a smell that will blow your mind away. But...
The greek pies/pastries are really amazing, each region has its own variations and recipes, so apart from some classics (e.g standard french pastry cheese pie) you will have the chance to try different dough types and fillings in different regions of Greece The quality of ingredients, is something I was always hearing from people visiting Greece ( e.g the taste of tomato). Now that I live in Warsaw I also started to appreciate that, because in a typical feast for locals the salad is something secondary, as we tend to focus on eating huge amounts of meat, specially grilled. Please don't open the topic of how the souvlaki is called, as we ourselves do not know 😂. So feel free to call it however you want as it will be right in some regions of Greece and wrong in others.
Hey Kaja, thank you! I can't believe that after so many Greek videos you still made the new one so refreshing! I feel so chill when watching :DD Can't wait to visit there!
Hello Kaya, i enjoyed your video. You come over as being very natural and authentic and you do an interesting narration. However I would skip the bakery and the pastry's because they only make "your" stomach stick out on the beach. 😂 I was in Greece back in the eighties and I am afraid that it has been very much spoiled since the introduction of Euro, which has been excruciatingly hard on the greek people, that schould never be forgotten. cheers.
Awesome video. Why do you think people would not be interested in Food videos. Anyone would like that. And from you it would be great. Beautiful views plus delicious food you eat during your trip.perfect combination.I think u should incorporate more local cuisine videos into your channel☺️😘
Aww, u miss some secret of iOS baby, I saw u visit again sophia church in the port and behind that church it's a spall path road the destiny it's one of the most beautiful secrets beach in that island called Valmas Beach, it's a small and private beach with two small caves, one u can across a small hill the cave is in the water an you can't imagine how clear it's the sea there, hope if you come back can visit, cheers.
The Culinary Letdown: A Californian Quest for Gourmet in Greece: When our food-obsessed group, proudly wearing our Californian foodie badges, decided to embark on a culinary journey to Athens, our spirits were as high as the ancient Acropolis. The land that gifted the world democracy surely had a plethora of flavors awaiting us. Instead, we were met with a flavor plateau that left us yearning for more. The perpetual offering of souvlakis with unapologetically stale bread became a predictable fixture of our Athenian dining experience. The red and green bell peppers dolmas, while vibrant on the plate, echoed a monotonous tone on our palates. We couldn't help but wonder: Where was the fresh baked bread warm from the hearth? Or the comforting embrace of a hot soup or the gentle warmth of a well-brewed tea? Aspects that should have been staples in such a storied land. Ironically, back in the Golden State, our local Whole Foods flaunts an olive bar that is reminiscent of a mini Mediterranean festival. Yet, in Athens, supermarkets seemed to treat olives with casual indifference, limiting their variety and essence. Having explored more than 80 establishments across mainland Greece and its islands, our enthusiasm began to wane. We found ourselves booking a hasty weekend retreat to the gastronomic haven of Antalya, Turkey. And what a relief that was! Turkey, with its rich culinary canvas, proved to be a stark contrast. The food was not just food - it was art, it was a story, it was, dare we say, seductive
I'm really enjoying your videos, but I wish you were more adventurous with the food, or maybe you're just not showing us the other greek dishes in your videos ? I know greek cuisine is more than just, pastries, tzatziki, and greek salad :D
That's not too much, but I understand what you mean, but maybe what you eat is not healthy enough, try to eat more vegetables and fruits, less candy , chips and fried things , it's more about the quality than the quantity
