- Hey folks, this is an afternoon ride in middle Georgia with my 2015 Triumph Thruxton 900.
I’m a beginner with about 2,500 miles under my belt and a passion for riding!

Since two weeks I have one! Yeah! Love the Thruxton 900
Loved it! About to look at getting the moss green thruxton. Used to have it 10 years ago but sold it. The black is very very nice !!
Maybe not the fastest, best handling bike. And a little heavy.
But so much more Fun than a Harley
Planing to get it this winter! It's goint to be my first bike :) when I saw it 5-6 years ago I knew immediately, this is going to be my bike one day.. most beautiful bike I ever saw. And I plan to keep it for many years... I hope hahahah ;) stay safe
Lovely, I've got a 790 Bonneville absolutely awesome bike.
Love to see him in so much control on my road. Cat and fiddle Derbyshire UK.This is not real world biking but great introduction to the beast.
Why? Is "your" road unrideable for beginners or something?
Nice bike
very nice … 45 years on motorcycles…. it's still a lot of fun on my green Thruxton 900. 😁
(days of thunder in the black forest)😅😅
Marvellous sound,thoroughly enjoyable ride-along!
Did you relocate the ignition switch?
That sound!
Great video. I have the year before model, same colour. Love it.
How much mileage does it gives you.
@@MRakshay-fb2mu I get about 200 -220km before the fuel light comes on.
love it!
How's it going? I'm curious. Still loving the Thruxton? I'm planning on getting this as my first bike even though quite a few people around me have said it isn't great for a first bike due to the seating position and the throttle. What do you think about that as someone who's had this as your first bike? And is it still your current bike?
I'm planning on getting the 2014 version in green by the way. There's a great used deal close to me
Hello. Yes I still love it! Personally I think it's a good bike to have as a beginner. I will say this is not the best bike for straight, boring highways, it's starts to get uncomfortable after an hour or so. This suits more of my current riding style since I like to take quick trips through country roads. As for the throttle...I don't see any problem with it, it's easy to control as long as you have proper wrist position.
I'm no expert (duh) but I don't think you can wheely this thing if you wanted to, even videos on youtube saying it's hard to wheely it since this generation of Thruxtons is not as powerful as the current.
Yes it doesn't have ABS but I think of that as sorta a good thing that way it invites you to really take it to a parking lot and practice hard braking and safe riding.
I'm 5' 7" (not sure what my inseam is) if that helps for reference and I'm able to flat foot it, which is a big big plus. Personally I think this bike is more beginner friendly than the fz07 just from the height, size and the power that it has.
Hope this helps!
@@antonio_vega thanks for replying! I didn't get a notification so I'm only just seeing this when i came back to this video. I definitely do not want to be doing wheelies on the Thruxton, lol. For now I'm trying to be safe and learn the fundamentals. My main concern with the Thruxton was that people say it's easy to drop and hard to maneuver at slow speeds. Sounds like you didn't have that issue though!
I sat on one in the dealership and was able to plant my feet on the ground. I really love the looks. The one I'm planning on getting is the green with yellow strip
Awesome. How are you finding it? I have the same bike.
It is awesome! I find it easy to ride as a beginner.
Dude, Im a begginer too and I just got my thruxton 900! This sound you got is with the straight pipes or what exhaust do you have?
Nice! Enjoy the bike, and safe riding! As long as you know your limits and respect the bike, it's a beginner friendly bike imo.
It is a straight pipe setup, I have a video on my channel starting it up and revving it. You can see for yourself.
Hello, I like your video. The bike sounds awesome. What exhausts does it have? Thank you. :)
Hello, straight piped. It was like this when I bought it ;)
I want to get a hard tail frame and put that motor of one of those in the bike custom job
