  • Here is my time-tested small jon boat setup for bass fishing. It works great for fishing in creeks, bays, and on small lakes (provided there are no waves). I have been able to catch thousands of fish from it that I would not have been able to catch from the shore.

Awesome! I love little boats. Fishing was never meant to be a competition, much less done in $30,000 boats pulled by a brand new SUV painted the same as the boat and covered in stickers. Customize and maintain your own boat, add a kid now and then and the fishing will be that much better. Fish on!

30,000$! You’re getting a great deal lol, most of the bass boats are closer to 60,000$

@@crankinbass5758 a bass boat for $100k the damn thing better have a basement, central heating and air and at least 1 big comfortable bathroom to kick back and read the paper between casts... The law of Diminishing returns on its finest display right there I suppose...i would honestly be embarrassed to bass fish out of a $100k bass boat. If I won something like that I'd sell it and still get a used bass tracker

It may not be a $20k set up but you did it yourself something to be proud of and it catches the fish. Good work man and sweet powerpole set up. 👍

Very impressive, I love the layout and organization of everything. And that powerpole is super clever. Also a big fan of the Briggs and Stratton outboard, I had one in the past on my old setup and recently purchased a used one for my current jon boat. Definitely going to play copycat on some of the things you got going on here. Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks for watching! Eventually I plan on getting a larger aluminum boat, but honestly, I still have not yet fished everything near me that I can get to with my little boat. I am saving up for some electronics to help me more efficiently fish many of the bays, coves, and creek mouths that the little jon boat can handle, but at this point in life I can't afford, nor justify having a monthly boat payment...and i'm still having a ton of fun fishing out of my small boat!

Well done! Something to be proud of. You can catch the same fish in a 5k boat that you can in a 50k boat. The boat doesn’t catch the fish or make the fisherman. The fisherman makes the boat and uses his skills to take the advantages that certain equipment can give. Also, love the power pole
