You weren't kidding, can feel the vibrations thru the computer screen ha!Sounds like it's running well though anyway. Don't see those on the water often.
The lower unit seems like it barely has any gear reduction so it shifts really hard even when idled all the way down. The prop also looks like a portable fan.
I have a question for you. I have the same motor with only four hours on it I bought. But it tells me it’s only a freshwater engine, not a salt water I put on to the sinks, but do you think you’ll be an issue to go in salt water as I rinse off afterwards.
@@curtbennett8402 the only concern I have is that there is a lot of steel on the engine that will rust badly in a salty environment. There is no water circulating through the engine so you don’t have to flush it.
i remember seeing these in stores when they first started makin them,
then i remember lookin at them real close an saying, hmmm, nope.
I admire briggs and Stratton, best quality engine...
Beats rowing !

I've seen people run a conduit pipe off engine so it exhausts underwater. It quiets them down alot.

It is an air cooled engine so it shouldn’t need to get flushed after running. Just hose it off to clean of any salt residue
@@tylerott9269 but do you think it’s safer for salt water? If I keep it clean after I use it

Need to add a sacrificial anode
Does it have B&G'$ infamous PLASTIC timing gears???
I've had to toss 2 perfectly good generators because of their stupid plastic timing gears.
Needs more rpms
What oil does it take
I think it is 30 wt like most small engines
Can you replace it with a predator motor without modification?
Did you ever get an answer for this

It is like most Briggs stuff...junk!
