And i would involve the staff. I wouldnt mention the gay part (cause its speculation) just tell them "i think im being sexually harassed and followed and i dont feel comfortable" its their job to maintain a safe environment
Yeah 😂😂😂 that title but seriously luckuly most of them lgbtq in vegas have been good to me and my dad im sorry that that happened to you luckaly that has not happened to me at the gym.
first, you do not need to apologize to anyone. you should not have to be experiencing this type of harassment especially at a gym. This type of behaviour is part of the "gay cruising" culture. And being gay myself i notice it has been getting worse . Some gay guys will literally just go to the gym (not to workout) but to just try and pick up straight guys or try to lead a straight guy on in the steam room. There are various gay hookup sites that are even dedicated to promote this type of behavior.
I'm a gay woman. And you're right. A lot of straight men don't see how they come across until they get harassed by a gay dude. It's quite eye opening. One of my friends recounted a dude following him to the restroom after buying him drinks all night.
Yeah.. i definitely feel you... It was a guy at my gym always staring at me .. at first I thought it was one of those situations where we just so happened to keep catching/locking eyes... but No, it was only one sided lol. Wherever I would so happen to be looking in his direction, HE would be the one STARING at ME. And then he'd look away.... and slowly too.. So once i finally caught on to that, i made it an effort to ignore him. Acted as if he was invisible and i didn't see him... And he eventually stopped and it didn't take long lol. Im not sure but it kind of seems like hes purposely ignoring me... whatever the case.... i love it! Leave me TF alone.. On another note, I grew up learning not to STARE at people... its rude... and can come across weird/offensive .. I don't think people today know the difference between LOOKING & STARING.... 2 totally different things... But yeah, like someone else in the comments mentioned, REPORT THOSE FOOLS. If a fitness associate approaches them and gives them a warning, I believe that will help a lot. Because their cover will be blown, they'll probably feel embarrassed and go to another gym... or they'll just stop altogether.. Either way, it will more than likely be confidential. But, yeah, report them because your situation seems waaaay more serious than mines... being followed is going too far..
