Don’t seem overworked, that’s probably why they don’t like photographers. The biggest threat to the public at the moment, judging by recent events is the police themselves.

Therefore, members of the public and press should not be prevented from doing so. 2.We need cooperation with the media and amateur photographers. When I was there it was a staunchly conservative area and that showed in the attitude of the police and the punishment by the courts, thank god hanging was abolished before my time! They tried to set me up once using a lying witness but I confronted him in front of other people and they all turned up in court in my defense. The happy look on the sergeants face soon turned to blubber when the lying witness stood up in the court and said it was all a pack of lies and nothing to do with me! He had spotted the faces and knew the game was up! Public eye did an audit of Catterick Police station a few months ago, shame you could not have done one while up that way.
