What workouts do you recommend if we dont have heavy bag or speed bag equipment? Also, because of low ceiling, I have a ropeless jump rope which has weighted handles. I was pretty desperate after covid shutdown. Sounds cheesey, but how could I incorporate?
@@sibrown345 For one if your space is limited it does not mean you have to be. do you have steps there. soccer kicks where your tip of your toes barely touch the top of corner of step. push ups, burpees where you go from the push up position to a stand, mountain climbers, resistance bands, run in place side to side back forth on tip of toes. work the combos. I rarely use my jump rope I did yesterday for a couple rounds. Love this guys vids I get bored trying to get creative so I come to his channels to kinda get coached

Perfect balance of exercises with combos! For extra toughness we can always do combos on the bag, and if we want to work longer, it's easy to just repeat the video.

Great thing JT, if you can do a full length workout , including jump rope, shadow boxing and heavy bag and conditioning I think it will be great. That jump rope and shadow boxing workout you did with Nate was great. I use it quite often 👍👍

These workouts have allowed me to train without a coach during lockdown and are brilliant. I just wish the ads would stop appearing all the time. Very hard to get a flow going when adverts for aftershave play in the middle of sets.
Great idea for a video which I’ve not seen from boxing channels is one on running. It’s ESSENTIAL for anyone boxing I think … for the gas tank/conditioning/endurance etc. really builds up those legs too since I started running I’m a lot lighter on my feet. Don’t gas out as much. Also running is just great for the competitive aspect. I went from 28 min 5ks to running sub-20s (19:49) last week on a parkrun coming 8th out of 264. The sense of achievement is immense. I’m training for an amateur fight so run a 5k most days, sometimes do 2, running home from boxing. But Yh I’m just making up up as I go along regarding running any advice you have would be great. And also it would help as stressing to boxers that they have to run 👊🏻

thanks again for these videos. i fractured my ankle (lower fibula) aug 23rd 2020 slipping while throwing a high spinning hook kick. your boxing videos have keep me going.. still training. cant really jump yet on my injured side but its getting there. slowly but surely, never give up :) thanks !

Hey Coach, Love the home workouts! I would suggest more repetition of the same drills. I didn't feel a burn in the conditioning and I didn't have enough time to get the combos right. less drills will fix both. Also I personally prefer 30-35 minute workouts. I feel I get more done and they fit in my schedule. Just my two cents. Thank you for creating the content.
