Good video! Do you know what the thread pitch is for the drain on the radiator? Looking to plumb my turbo water lines to that location. Thanks for any assistance.
What did you use to cut the hose? Been looking online and everyone shows how to cut SS line but no one shows how to cut nylon braided line. Nice build BTW.
Ben Liu i used a grinder with a cut of disc. I guess you could use a chop saw or a hack saw. As long as its a straight cut and the braid isent frayed. And thank you 🙌🏻
Nicholas Marlow I see. I ordered 10ft of the vibrant hose which should be more than enough for my oil cooler setup. I guess I'll have fun experimenting which method is the best way.
HakimDC2 I bought 5 feet of Vibrant -16an hose which is plenty. The lengths will vary depending on your setup. And im in Canada so this was much more expensive then USD because our dollar is horrible. Cost me around 250$ just for the hose, fittings and wrench. This issnt including the ktuned thermostat and upper coolant neck with -16 fittings.
Carlos Gonzalez i actually just took it for its first little drive around the block nothing serious but temps stayed at like 190. I need to take it for a proper drive at highway speed. Just buttoning up things. More videos in the works
No Budget Racing you know it 😂🙌🏻 ordered a bunch of parts today will have some more content soon. Turn post notifications on or follow my IG for updates
ej8 coupe hday project car holmes they dont list a rad for the D series but im sure you could use a B series rad and with the right fittings make it work. Or they have a universal half rad. And this setup cost me almost a grand in canadian.

How has the 45 to straight setup on the top hose held up for you so far? No issues with the short hose with a fair bit of flex there?
This is adam lz level of detail for explaining, very informative!.
John Bersales idk if this is sarcasm 😂
Nah its fr not even being sarcastic lol im on the same build just trying to clean the bay first lol
John Bersales okay awesome man thanks for the support!
What ktuned TB adapter did you use to be able to mate the RBC with the skunk2 TB? Loving the purple accents in the build btw!
What degree fittings did you get? Sorry at work can't listen currently only watch. Not sure if you stated it while talking
I bought 2 -16 straights, 1 90 degree and 1 45 degree

Ben Liu basicly why I put I’m not an expert on the hose and fittings. First time using -16AN and its a pain. I’ve used smaller sizes.
How many ft an likes and what’s the cost of all the fittings and lines

I’ve seen people cut the middle rad support and put the radiator in front of the support so it’s more forward.
Solefresh10 thought about it but, really I didnt care for it. Not going for show car status. Its mostly just the parts I want and may track it a bit.
How much was it can it be done for dseries
