Looks very Simular to my 2013 CC Executive 4-motion 3.6L rear assembly, the rear differential started making bad noises and I have to remove and replace with good used one.
why do you dont drill two holes (diameter 26mm approx) in luggage compartment? For MQB and Haldex Gen5 it is in service manual...then rear axle of the car cant be pulled off from the car isnt it?
@@login_pass according manual for Leon yes, but some cars has holes in chasis but I have to.. dont know if you has to drill also..but developers count with this so it is ok

Can this be welded? Or does the entire differential have to be replaced because of this?
