being one of Aaron's camera crew during that trip i gotta say we had an absolute blast. was awesome hanging with ya Proko and hope to do this again in the future
I like seeing each artist's differing approach to a subject. Aaron is definitely more anatomy based while Proko is more shape and form based, and both work perfectly fine.
I must say it is good seeing such a competent artist such as yourself struggling with cats. It shows that even those with a lot of skill are always learning and growing:)
this is so lovely i know Proko and he has so many subs and still he is never aftaid of collabs that way he guides us to specific dimention of art that we yet have to explore and while he is pro in his own direction there are other things to see, watch and learn, i admire how he delivers this simple but very fascinating advanture that he goes through to us. i love ppl who love learning and creating but what is not completelyin their range they can teach us too by sending us to right direction, i took his path but i have an options too, this sort of thing from an artists(meaning offernig other great ppl and thus showing respect and objectivity) is very impressive, i appreciate everything this man does!
I love this video of you interacting with another artist out having fun together and coming up with creative games to play. I know youve done this in the past but I would love to see more!
Spending the day drawing animals at the zoo with a Disney Animator like Aaron Blaise - what a dream come true for any artist in my field. The only way it could possibly get better would be to draw with Glen Keane - I learned so much watching you both thank you so much for this!
That little break where the shell stops in front of the eyes is called "the stop." Cockers have a very prominent stop where a Bull Terrier does not have one.
As a person who's trying to get into illustrating ... this was brilliant. Thank you Proko... and I am humbled by Aaron Blaise. Didn't realise how prolific he is. Nothing but
I’m going to sound really selfish here.... and totally don’t mean it in that way. Seeing Proko as such a talented artist messing up here and there from time to time kind of made me feel a little bit better about my drawing abilities. It lets me know that even the best artists struggle sometimes and it’s okay to struggle and not be perfect all the time.
Matty Betty he just proved that ur good at what u practice. He never practiced drawing a cat. Soo he was not the best at it. Aron is good at it because he has done it gazzilion times. And if we are honest.. He would have done the same good drawing, even if the cat wasnt there. :) hehe.
I remember watching this a few days after it came out and as soon as that orangutan came up to Aaron I dropped everything and went to the zoo with my sketchbook and had the best time
AARON THANK YOU FOR YOUR BRUSHES...... unlike these scum bag companies they arent for the artist but you are and help us not only use your brushes but use them for ourselves and whatever we want to do with them!!.... i bought all your brushes!! and videos! thank you man!! youre on my top 5 artist today ...your all around level is insane
I can't look at those asphalt walkways without remembering 2 things....The wax casting machines when I was a kid, and a certain 70's sitcom opening "come and knock on our door......" Actually Threes Company was LA Zoo, this looked like San Diego Zoo with the asphalt paths.
Aaron Blaise is left handed! Me too, buddy! (This is from 2017, but still I get excited to see other left handed artists.) What a great video, by the way. I was thinking of going to the zoo this summer for some sketching. We're still in a pandemic, but ours is open. I hope it never closes.
Such a great video. Stan, your videos bring joy to my life! And afterwards I really have an urge to grab my art material and draw, paint, all of it. Thanks for inspiring people!
Many years ago I took my sketchbook to Bristol zoo (England). I was sitting on a grass bank drawing an Okapi when I heard a small voice from behind me say "Cor! That's brilliant, that is!" I looked around and there were about a dozen kids huddled together watching me draw. they were on a school trip and the teacher rather sheepishly apologised for the intrusion. I told her it was OK. Sketching things in public can be a lot of fun once you learn to relax and concentrate on what you are drawing. People are usually pretty positive in their comments. The only drawback are the inevitable "Can you draw us?" requests.
Awesome drawings! You both have so much talent! I know that one of the advise that you (Mr. Blaise) always give is to draw from real life. My question is, how on earth do you draw something that is constantly in motion?
你哋好搞鬼。 兩位都係高手 both are masters. Love the humours that you both are carrying. That’s why I love your art. Am a Procreator too. Can’t wait to get back to Chicago to draw that lady tiger again!
Ese comportamiento de ir venir es muestra de lo estresados que estan. Pobre tigresito. Más allá de eso, estos dos dibujantes son una verdadera inspiración, de verdad son increíbles
Check out Aaron's Lion Masterpiece Demo - proko.com/blaise
Proko That queen Proko finds any excuse to dress up in drag lol
did you try to use the loomis method with the animals?
Had such a great time! Can't wait for you to make it down to Florida so I can drag you through the swamps and we can go drawing on the boat :)
+The Art of Aaron Blaise haha Yes! Mud painting challenge!
Thank you guys for the best cat video I've seen all year! You guys are so funny and talented, I appreciate your positivity.
That was great! Thank you to both of you for the fun lessons!
Goodness, animals just seem to magnetize towards you.
The Art of Aaron Blaise So nice to see you with Proko being good Friends!
being one of Aaron's camera crew during that trip i gotta say we had an absolute blast. was awesome hanging with ya Proko and hope to do this again in the future

I like seeing each artist's differing approach to a subject. Aaron is definitely more anatomy based while Proko is more shape and form based, and both work perfectly fine.

kopfkoma y
I must say it is good seeing such a competent artist such as yourself struggling with cats. It shows that even those with a lot of skill are always learning and growing:)
i like how stan just does a quick sketch but aaron is like "DETAILED"😂
11:30 Oh my god Karen came by and watched Aaron Blaise draw. That was so cute.
12:13 : "She does some drawing"!
Dominique Paguyo (Student) I love how this Karen is better then every other Karen shes so calm and cute
Bassil Osman you cant call a Karen calm, that doesn’t make a Karen.
It's so awesome seeing these two drawing! 2 of the best artists out there
Not even close but hey its alright man
this is so lovely i know Proko and he has so many subs and still he is never aftaid of collabs that way he guides us to specific dimention of art that we yet have to explore and while he is pro in his own direction there are other things to see, watch and learn, i admire how he delivers this simple but very fascinating advanture that he goes through to us. i love ppl who love learning and creating but what is not completelyin their range they can teach us too by sending us to right direction, i took his path but i have an options too, this sort of thing from an artists(meaning offernig other great ppl and thus showing respect and objectivity) is very impressive, i appreciate everything this man does!

Aaron Blaise is a master artist. So much seasoned!
I loved Karen watching you do her portrait!!! So fun!♡♡♡
That little break where the shell stops in front of the eyes is called "the stop." Cockers have a very prominent stop where a Bull Terrier does not have one.
Two of my art heroes! Just started drawing back in June 2017 when I got my amazing iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and it's been a joy!
Holy shit when the animals came around to look at their sketches, I want to be that powerful
Top 10 Anime Crossovers~
Super cool. Eye popping energy in Aaron's stuff and I can totally see the Watts craft in Stan's work here, particularly in the gorilla.
10:22 gave me goosebumps. True art lover.
Two favorite artists drawing together - this what I call a great Christmas present!!
Please make more videos like this!! Happy holidays)
Proko and Aaron blaise! fantastic! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
That's a good idea. I'm between semesters at the moment with an all year long zoo in town. Time to make a trip tomorrow.
I love it when you team up with your fun artist buds & draw together.
That was a GREAT collab!!! Thanks to BOTH of you. Very inspiring!! AND entertaining!!
Lauri
Aaron draws big cats very artistically. :)
As a person who's trying to get into illustrating ... this was brilliant. Thank you Proko... and I am humbled by Aaron Blaise. Didn't realise how prolific he is. Nothing but
I seriously want to see you guys draw with Karen..
I had so much fun watching this amazing video! Thanks @Proko thanks @Aaron!
This must have been so cool to do together! Loved watching both of your videos.
I’m going to sound really selfish here.... and totally don’t mean it in that way. Jure Jereb haha very true.
Matty Betty I cant not even be at Proko level of drawing and I admire both lol
well, proko cant draw a kangaroo so you cant really call him that good
its hard to draw when the subj keeps moving too. aaron really has more of this live drawings.
I could watch all day
The master of figure drawing and the master of animal drawing meet each other
I remember watching this a few days after it came out and as soon as that orangutan came up to Aaron I dropped everything and went to the zoo with my sketchbook and had the best time
Proko you're so lucky to meet this man. He's my inspiration
Omg I can't believe that my two favorite channels cooperate!!! I'm so happy!
BEST VIDEO I EVER WATCHED ON ANY CHANNEL M2 HEROES
*PROKOPIKO THE ART TEACHER*
Thanks for sharing this. It was great fun to watch and quite instructional. I am NOW checking my calendar for my next visit to the zoo.
Wow karen is awesome
I once went to a zoo when I was on holiday, but they only had a dog.
It was a Shih Tzu.
ROFLMAO. took me a sec
Aaron uses pastel sticks in a pastel holder.
You sure it's pastel? Seems more like charcoal or charcoal vine
yeah its compressed charcoal in cylindrical stick form. The clutch holder makes it a great tool for quick sketches
3:30 never saw a Lion sneeze before "I'm allergic to caaaaa......I'm allergic to caaaaa-aaaaaa..... I'm allergic to caaaaaatcheeeeewwww!!!!"
This is AWESOME! Aaron has such an amazing style, every time I see his work I'm like 'sweet Jesus Christ...how?!' haha.
Really cool idea for a video! Fun & instructive. Thanks guys :D
Kazoo track during the giraffe sequence is pretty goddamn intense 🤘
I love how the section of the video where the giraffe runs away from Stan is literally called “Giraffe runs away from Stan” 😂
"I gotta take a leak" Well, I found something do just like Aaron Blaise! Its something I practice every day. You need consistency.
I really enjoy watching this, thank you guys¡¡
My .... great master drawing skill . I love it
Loooove these types of videos! Seeing you guys sketch from life is suppeer inspirational :)

I liked the idea of Stan dressed as Prokahontas. I would watch that :D
Aaron Blaise is left handed! Me too, buddy! (This is from 2017, but still I get excited to see other left handed artists.)
What a great video, by the way.

That musoc towards the end was interesting

Awesome...Merry Christmas!
That was wonderful on lots of levels.
Ese comportamiento de ir venir es muestra de lo estresados que estan. Pobre tigresito. Más allá de eso, estos dos dibujantes son una verdadera inspiración, de verdad son increíbles
I love how the animals came to watch xD amazing work both of you!
Awesome. What a day that must have been working one on one with Aaron.
+choochoochooseyou It was amazing
Wish I could’ve been there. I live here and draw all the time at the zoo. I follow you both as well.
