Aaron Blaise took me on a drawing adventure to sketch animals in the Florida marshes. After walking in circles we were able to spot the ever-elusive alligators hiding in the water. I had a blast learning about the wildlife and hanging out with his crew.
While I was in Florida, I also got a chance to record Aaron’s masterpiece demo of a lion. We recorded the whole two-day process of drawing a large animal portrait, plus a lesson on big cat anatomy. You can find that at proko.com/blaise.

Do you prefer to sketch in the wild, or at the zoo?
Wild imo
Never tried either :(
Wild. No crowd, only nature.
In the wild, the zoo makes me sad to see the caged animals
Wild. Aaron Blaise is awesome..
This was such a great day! So happy to have got to show you my little slice of the world :)
Teach me!
You r awesome !
I like it how you both seem to have become great buddies
What is the white marker you use?thanks
Almost feels like he's under a mentorship with you? :D
"This isn't very inspiring."
"You have to learn to _look."_

Wow....! 0.0 This was my very first first Wildlife Photography experience during that walk that inspired me to pursue Photography to where I am now! So glad I was part of the experience with you guys and definitely looking forward to next time!
@@nendu4316 Thank you very much :)
I like how it shows how artists do things differently and how differently each artist sees things. I love it.

OMG! I had no idea you went to a wildlife refuge! Most amazing place to sketch animals from life. And what better person to go there with than Aaron Blaise (the master of animal art)
Nice to see Aaron here! And good timing too, just bought one of his courses. He strikes me as a real good dude
how to recognize aaron blaise: a happy man with a pinapple shirt and using flip flops all the time

Really cool to see you draw out of your comfort zone Proko.
PS. Loving Aaron's shirt
From ALL the great videos on this channel, when you two hangout and draw, it’s gold!
Watch out for Florida Man!
WAIT hol the phone, can we address that he used a brush pen WHILE STANDING UP HOLDING HIS SKETCHBOOK? I can't control the damn pressure on one while sitting with a desk under my book and he just did that in like a minute xD
I used to use a bottle of ink taped around a finger splint, Soo I could hold my sketch pad.
@@stilo398 I would have spilled the ink, some how injured myself, and ended up in a splint.
I feel sad I ran out of paper now I can't draw 😭
excellent wild life art drawing session . love the way Aaron draws grass , so fluid . Stan beautiful tree .
These Proko/Blaise episodes are the best
I Loved this one! Please do more like these. It feels so raw and natural.

This needs more views
Florida is beautiful, i live in utah so i cant really go in the wild and sketch exotic animals but we do have beautiful winter type landscapes a lot😀
Awesome
Aaron should sell sketchbooks of his drawings 👌🏾
Today i learned some lessons from you
proko's palm tree sketch was dope
That heron is chill, all the ones I've seen would fly away if I got within a 100 meters.
Aaron and Proko. Instalike!
You guys crack me up!!😂😂😂
Aaron is one with nature
3:42 ... Say it with me... "Florida man...."
So much fun going out on an adventure to make art! 💗✨🖐
I like it 😍
Damn drawing in the wild is so relaxing
It's like mufasa and simba hanging out while aron Blais being mufasa sharing life lessons with simba(proko)
We ate that grass too when we were young. In Myanmar, the school infrastructure wasn't very good so many tall grasses around. 😋
I was literally waiting for a video by Proko. From last couple of weeks.
Aaron has the best shirts. Also TIL... Proko does not like walking in circles
Master Artist: "I'm wondering if I could fix mine..." [9:49]
Pal, also Master Artist: "No, dude, that looks good!"
Both silently: (mine needs fixing)
me: XD XD XD...and that's why they're great at art, peeps!
Welcome to my stomping grounds! Florida is great for wildlife, lush landscapes, waterscapes, and bugs! Big bugs. 🤣
when will be prokochallange for may?
Great video, I think I'd find it to frustrating to try and sketch in the wild, lots of ref photos and sketch at home
When you go drawing with a go pro can i ask what clamp you use to clamp it to your drawing board love your work by the way
I would have liked more instructions here and teaching and what materials you guys are using.
Wow
Stan seemed awkward and out of his element here. Aaron seems annoyed lol
Mr Blaise seems like a granpa telling stories to proko heheheh
This must have been a while ago since Aarom still had his hair uncut.
La mejor manera de aprender a dibujar.
I'm genuinely missing Aaron's hair.😭😭😭

I ain't gonna lie, proko been hitting the gym and it shows.

2:03 I thought this bird was really on the shot lol
That coffee stain actual became kinda normal by the end of the video.
Awesome video! Can I ask what the name of the white ink is? Is it from Faber Castell?
What books do you recommend for the art enthusiast?
When will the results for the may proko challenge be out?
What pens/markers are you using for the whites/highlights?
What was that white marker? Never seen one
Can somebody tell me the supplies they used to sketch please?
Wow amazing
#tannusketches

Hello Proko, what type of paper/sketchbook do you use here? Thanks
Proko: can we stop walking now? ;)
