stop mixing the shrimp!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your not menna mix the colours as they will produce low quality offspring if differnent colours breed. they will be brown or like a translucent and lose all the colour!!!
@@azza4433 I dont mind. Chill out 🤣👍
@@MDFishTanks noooo you want to keep them looking the best they can 🤣you wanna keep the blues blue, the blacks black and the reds red! It’s a pet hate of mine 🤣In a few generations down the line of shrimp kids they will just look totally colourless!
What are the dead looking items (leaves, bark, acorns) you added and what is their purpose?
Do you sell the shrimp?
Paramedic here, superglue is perfectly fine for closing cuts. We use it for closing deep cuts and preventing infections, just make sure to clean the surface(the cut) before gluing :)
Love this!
Superglue in a spray form was used to stop bleeding in the Vietnam War. I just googled it because I recall on my first aid training superglue was mentioned lol
EMT here and agreed
thanks for this comment, Without it I would have been too worried to enjoy the video...
@@elines.9890 😁💪
2:40 this is when you know he's been aquascaping way too much, but I'm glad he's having fun, wish I could grow like that.
Yeah, it’s not my favourite tank in terms of something I want to replicate, but I really enjoyed watching something a bit different.
Will be interesting to see it grow out.
Adorable little tank. I love that each tank can be it’s own separate world. Some serious and some whimsical. Please do an update as this one grows in. I’m very interested to see how plants do in those little cups.
+1 let's see an update video linked in the description!
I loved that snail just zipping around at the end stuck to the surface through the power of surface tension.
I would love to see something like a "Moss-Ball Minefield". Use some string or fishing line and tie it around the mossballs then glue the other end to the bottom or tie them to a rock and have them floating in the tank just like a minefield.
They would deffo sink sadly
Wrapping the moss ball around some cork or styrofoam balls would help them continue to float after being water logged, but I'm not sure Marino moss balls would like that as much :)
You can do this using fishing bobbers. Just wrap it around and glue it on then mount to the bottom. Was one of my gramps favorite things for his tanks
I've had Java moss ball mid tank and my danos just loved it.
Super glue is great for quickly closing cuts. I believe that was what it was originally made for. This doesn’t mean all super glues are made equal…
Lol fax hahah
i think it was developed during the vietnam war to close bullet wounds quickly, then became a houewhold item
Absolutely love your set ups, please keep up the good work.
thanks Neil. Glad you like :)
Would you think about having a web cam on one of the tanks and maybe rotate it from tank to tank so the people that don’t have tanks can tune in and watch. Great channel btw. 👍🏼
I like that idea! Would definitely watch
The video quality would be poor though
@@Yonatan24 Why would it? That depends on his recording setup....
I like it. Makes me want a shrimp tank. It's very different. Kinda Avatar looking.
I’ve never seen anyone make a fish tank like that. So cool!
Also the 30 gallon community ecosystem tank I set up with Cory’s, guppies, and mollys. Oh and one tiny albino pleco. I added hornwort and they finally had babies 5 that I can see. So exciting thanks for getting me back into this hobby my neice and I are really enjoying it.
The tank looks super cute! Would love to see one more tank build at home for home, miss seeing the kids and wifey. Baby girl probably got so big! Also I love how you show the tank so in depth at the end of each video. It's so tranquil.
Im really loving how you showcase the tank after the build.. much respect.. you have started a new trend with this cups..
Looks get futuristic, I like it. I also like to put marimo on a craft mesh, it becomes a floating island, great for shrimp and snails if they just want to get to higher ground or just lazy floating
I love your fish tanks. I love the low tech and simple looking fish tanks. I think that your ecosystem bowl is so cool and its almost 2 months. I and probably lots of others would like to see how its doing!
I just made a version of this for my neocaridina shrimp, and I love it almost as much as they do! I've used shades of blue/turquoise gravel in the bottom of the tank, and each bubble. Then glued Java moss to white quartz and black rocks to put into each bubble. I haven't decided whether to glue moss to my faux coconut shell hideaway (no back door, only front, and top). Also have corkscrew bendy stick with Java moss on it (bought at local fish store). Added cuttle bone fragment for calcium (as recommended by local fish expert), an algae wafer in the corner, and it's a real party! They swim around, hop into the bubbles, hide in the coconut, eat from the moss and the wafer... THANK YOU for this wonderful idea!!! Can't wait for the babies!
ive been using those glass cups for 4 months now ,I love them, you can adjust the light on yer plants easily by moving them up or down
The moss rocks in groups kind of remind me strangely enough of the rock trolls from the movie Frozen! Lol
Oh Man! MD I love it!! I like how you use different items in your design and this one just feels as if you have opened up a new realm of what is possible. The shrimp look amazing in the setting with the contrasting colors of black, green and orange the use of shape and the natural elements. I can see others really getting inspired by this. You've brought keeping shrimp in tanks as much more of an option as I always enjoy seeing them cleaning and interacting. You must be doing something right with the amount of shrimp babies you are getting in so many different colors.
I really enjoyed this, thanks so much for sharing!
That bubble tank turned out so adorable!!! I had seen those "bubbles" before but had no idea what could be done with them.
nice idea, i think monte carlo in bowls would look amazing when it starts creeping out
Just started my first shrimp tank and I'm already obsessed with the little guys! Loved this setup
Just a delightful Shrimpdom! Sent the link to my sister in Australia who recently got her 1st shrimp set up 🦐
I just bought some of those bubble planters for my nano tank…so happy to see you use them 1st! Thanks!
This shrimp tank reminds me of the fantasy place I’d travel to when my dad beat me.
I truly can't wait for future updates on this tank absolutely love the look of this
I love the natural look but this is just so neat and really like how cute it is and the idea of it in a big tank would be super cool lol
This looks great MD! Loving all the wee planters. Can't wait to start my neo tank 🦐🐌
This tank inspired me so much! Thanks for all your content and showing every aspect of setting up the tank. I am new to shrimp so every little advice and suggestions really helps♥️
Amazing. I've never seen someone doing a project like this. I hope you will keep making enjoyable and educational videos like this in the future. Great job!!!
This is my favorite tank of yours, I love out of the box creative setups.
I was looking at those clear planting bulbs for my mum's tank. She has a gravel setup and wants plants however she 100% gravel-vacs the substrate to clean it so I needed something that would allow the plants to be easily moved. Ended up going with just terracotta planting pots, but I like how the bulbs turned out in your tank. I might try something similar with them for my own tank in the future here. I'm so jealous of your self-sustaining shrimp population.
Hi MD, great stuff as always! What I wanted to share is that I've made such ''floating islands'' but instead used some rocks & lava rock to which I've glued some suction cups & covered with moss & plants, FYI if you'd like to achieve a bit more naturalistic look. You can also hang lava rock from your lamp or cover on a fishing line to have an even more floating effect. Anyway, I'm glad to see such a nice creation!
Pretty shrimp, curious to see how the plants grow in the little bauble things.
Glad to see it isn't just me. My first one of those glass cups I put in the tank, it lasted about 3 minutes before I snapped off one of the stems. I wasn't aware how strong the suction cups are and how weak the glass is. I tried to move it and snap! Lucky for me, I didn't hurt myself though.
Your shrimp tanks are always such an inspiration to me, I LOVE seeing them!!
Looks great MD. Really makes me think I should go ahead and turn the floating moss stone aquarium into a Shrimp tank! 👍
I've actually used these before just a couple though. They look great in this grouping. Another awesome scape. 😄🍀😄🍀😄🍀😄🍀😄🍀💞
WOW. You just have that Tank Touch. This one looks amazing. I love the contrast of the green plants and the dark substrate. And the orange of the 🦐 shrimp really pops. Looks great MD. Thanks for the idea of the bubbles.
this is super inspiring for the betta bowl with shrimp that I'm gong to do for my dorm at college! thank you MD and youtube algorithm.
I love this build so much! All the little orange activity at the end makes me so happy!
What a cool idea with the stick-on bubbles!! I'm going to do the moss on a rock trick next, it will prevent the need to roll it, and bottom die off.
A form of superglue is used in hospitals. I've used it myself with great results. It's good to seal off open wounds before playing in fish tanks!
I love your videos so much! I just recently started to build my aquarium with a more natural look and function and have recently introduced some cherry shrimp as well!
Looks amazing MD! Love watching builds and seeing them come to life!
Love the whole new look of this setup for shrimp and definitely want to try it!! Will be ordering some of those bowls for sure!! Thank you MD!
I used to have 2 Amano shrimp that started off absolutley tiny, but over the course of a year they grew to the size of my finger. Easily one of my favorite pets.
This is absolutely beautiful!
This tank is perfection! Thanks!
I like the creativity of this tank. I may mimic this.
MD be needing a Shrimp Room in no time 😂 Gotta have em all colors
I have these glass cuppy -things, too! Yes, fragile, but BEAUTIFUL! Careful!
Always finding something different, will look amazing when the plants grow out more.
Amazing video! Thanks for dropping your knowledge! It is appreciated 😊
This Shrimp tank looks awesome!
This is such a cool setup! I just got my first shrimp tank and I am def going to try something like this in the future. A definite conversation starter. Thanks for having a great channel!
LOVE YOU MD! KEEP DOING WHAT YOURE DOING! ❤️
Off all the Aquascapes I have seen on RUclips this one is my favorite
That looks amazing. I love it. So going to get some of those bubble planters for my hexa tank. Loving the content MD👍😊
Brilliant.
I actually had the same idea when I came across those suction cups while looking for a stick-on Betta bed. Nice to see you thinking the same thing and giving it a go. The tank looks great. Kind of reminds me of Azuma Makoto's work. Would be great to see it done on a large scale. A four foot tank with bubble pots everywhere in an otherwise epiphyte only aquarium would be spectacular, especially if the main hardscape was somehow suspended off the bottom of the tank.
The possibilities are endless.
Good effort
I love the vibrant colors of your shrimps. They stand out well against the live plants
Already my favorite build
Loving these shrimp set ups.
👍❤👍
i LOVE the fun and excitement you have while building a new tank- and it looks amazing, as always! The floating snail, going round and round in the top of the tank, at the end around 21:50 , made me laugh
these small shrimp tanks look cool. Was not aware of some of the needs for these animals. Have seen the leaves and sticks in fish stores before and understood they change the PH, so these shrimp need that. Was also not aware they need mineral rocks for molting. That all makes a lot of sense. I really like the feeding tube stick too that blends in with the glass. And to glue the moss and leaves onto rocks is also a very good idea.
Perfect little project.
Love it MD! You probably started a new trend. This tank would look great in a home with edgy/modern decor.
I admire very much those channels that has acquariums. You got crystal water too.
Looking forward to an update in a few month how this setup developed. This is a really unique approach. Loving it.
Experimenting with an old short stemmed coupe glass and sand/gravel
This is adorable!
Love it ~ Looks awesome !!!
Looks sooo cool
original aquarium, aerial and luminous. I hope we will see its evolution. good work.
I tried to keep shrimp several times did a ton of research, set up the tank, correct temp, filter, parameters, bio-media, the works, just like this. Each time all the shrimp died. I never got babies and I could never figure out what I did wrong. Broke my heart. I love shrimp tanks and the channels on here that keep them.
It's different. I like that you can clearly see the shrimp. Cute.
Excellent camera work!
you're loco and I love your tanks, and watching and listening to you is so easy and relaxing---BUT it always inspires me to get up and WORK on my tanks, love it man!
MD you should make a water fall jungle build one day 🙂 sure will turn out fine just needs a bit of planning
Wow fantastic design and such a different concept. Love it MD!
The mini time lapse was great!!! Who knew snails could move so fast!!!
Fantastic Thanks and Happy New Year
The quality of your video footage is next level. Just amazing work!
Super cool shrimp set up. Has a modern feel to it.
Love watching your videos and it has inspired me to do my first planted aquarium and get some cherry shrimp, the moss balls will sink you just need to gently squeeze them in the water to get the excess air out.
Love the bowls for the plants and your idea for the moss balls👍😊
How cool! What a great idea!
Looks good reminds me of aquapros floating rock aquarium. Would be cool to see your take on that in a 4ft!
How unique, your tanks are the best I’ve watched. I check everyday for a new video, thank you.
I really liked that look.
those little shrimpers are living there best life
Awesome video as always !
Love the planting bubbles!
Really enjoyed the macro shots. Well done.
I love love love that you are doing so many shrimp tanks!
Super cool love the orange shrimps🍊
oh to be a little shrimp in a beautiful green tank surrounded by all my shrimp and snail friends
nice orange rili have them as well they are very nice shrimp to look at. Great tank as always.
WOW😍🤩, that looks so cool and so different and its managable too!! Some monte carlo would look awesome in some of the bigger cups..😊
Another perfect ending of footage of the tank
Really calming, soothing and so awesome to watch. You have a new subscriber and I'm addicted
Super cool! Love it!
Another well done video. Thank you!
I love this tank! You've created a shrimpy fantasy world!
