Would you think about having a web cam on one of the tanks and maybe rotate it from tank to tank so the people that don’t have tanks can tune in and watch. Great channel btw. 👍🏼
I’ve never seen anyone make a fish tank like that. So cool! Also the 30 gallon community ecosystem tank I set up with Cory’s, guppies, and mollys. Oh and one tiny albino pleco. I added hornwort and they finally had babies 5 that I can see. So exciting thanks for getting me back into this hobby my neice and I are really enjoying it.
Looks get futuristic, I like it. I also like to put marimo on a craft mesh, it becomes a floating island, great for shrimp and snails if they just want to get to higher ground or just lazy floating
I just made a version of this for my neocaridina shrimp, and I love it almost as much as they do! I've used shades of blue/turquoise gravel in the bottom of the tank, and each bubble. Then glued Java moss to white quartz and black rocks to put into each bubble. I haven't decided whether to glue moss to my faux coconut shell hideaway (no back door, only front, and top). Also have corkscrew bendy stick with Java moss on it (bought at local fish store). Added cuttle bone fragment for calcium (as recommended by local fish expert), an algae wafer in the corner, and it's a real party! They swim around, hop into the bubbles, hide in the coconut, eat from the moss and the wafer... THANK YOU for this wonderful idea!!! Can't wait for the babies!

What a cool idea with the stick-on bubbles!! I'm going to do the moss on a rock trick next, it will prevent the need to roll it, and bottom die off. A form of superglue is used in hospitals. I've used it myself with great results. It's good to seal off open wounds before playing in fish tanks!
i LOVE the fun and excitement you have while building a new tank- and it looks amazing, as always! The floating snail, going round and round in the top of the tank, at the end around 21:50 , made me laugh
Hi MD, great stuff as always! What I wanted to share is that I've made such ''floating islands'' but instead used some rocks & lava rock to which I've glued some suction cups & covered with moss & plants, FYI if you'd like to achieve a bit more naturalistic look. You can also hang lava rock from your lamp or cover on a fishing line to have an even more floating effect. Anyway, I'm glad to see such a nice creation!
these small shrimp tanks look cool. Was not aware of some of the needs for these animals. Have seen the leaves and sticks in fish stores before and understood they change the PH, so these shrimp need that. Was also not aware they need mineral rocks for molting. That all makes a lot of sense. I really like the feeding tube stick too that blends in with the glass. And to glue the moss and leaves onto rocks is also a very good idea. Perfect little project.

Amazing. I've never seen someone doing a project like this. I hope you will keep making enjoyable and educational videos like this in the future. Great job!!!
MD! What an Amazing, Fun, Engaging Video. You totally pulled me out of my funk today. What a Fabulous 'Play Ground' for your Shrimp & Snails! The close-ups made me fall in love w/my Shrimp all over again, and the end where the Snail is 'surfing the wave' made me laugh! Mine do that ALL the time. Thank you!!!
I tried to keep shrimp several times did a ton of research, set up the tank, correct temp, filter, parameters, bio-media, the works, just like this. Each time all the shrimp died. I never got babies and I could never figure out what I did wrong. Broke my heart. I love shrimp tanks and the channels on here that keep them.
Glad to see it isn't just me. My first one of those glass cups I put in the tank, it lasted about 3 minutes before I snapped off one of the stems. I wasn't aware how strong the suction cups are and how weak the glass is. I tried to move it and snap! Lucky for me, I didn't hurt myself though.
Put your spare in the betta tank at the top with some grass type plant for your betta to rest in. I got some of those plant pots thank you for the idea. I’m going to try this.
Brilliant. I actually had the same idea when I came across those suction cups while looking for a stick-on Betta bed. Nice to see you thinking the same thing and giving it a go. The tank looks great. Kind of reminds me of Azuma Makoto's work. Would be great to see it done on a large scale. A four foot tank with bubble pots everywhere in an otherwise epiphyte only aquarium would be spectacular, especially if the main hardscape was somehow suspended off the bottom of the tank. The possibilities are endless. Good effort
asome tank, love those transparent pots... also, if u boil the botanicals for 5 minutes , it will sink and prevent any contaminations. good vibesfrom CDMX
Love watching your videos and it has inspired me to do my first planted aquarium and get some cherry shrimp, the moss balls will sink you just need to gently squeeze them in the water to get the excess air out.
I used to have 2 Amano shrimp that started off absolutley tiny, but over the course of a year they grew to the size of my finger. Easily one of my favorite pets.
I love your videos so much! I just recently started to build my aquarium with a more natural look and function and have recently introduced some cherry shrimp as well!
original use for superglue is medical to be used in conjunction with butterfly stiches to "glue" cuts closed. (they used it on my daughters forehead when she cut it open)
Hey MD, love your videos. Just wanted to say if you boil your botanicals in water it will clean them and make them float to the bottom. Just so you don’t have to glue pebbles to them!
The alder cones are great I have a few trees nearby where I harvest mine from, they tend to release most of their tannins in one go but its still good to keep spent ones left to rot over time especially in heavily planted tanks with a no Co2 setup, as the plants will consume all the dissolved Co2 which will raise your pH to undesirable levels for alot of fish species. The rotting alder cones along with wood, leafs and other debris will help keep the pH lower, I really struggle to keep my planted tank below 8 and its not even a heavy planted tank, has a ton of floating salvania though.
Such a pretty, interesting, and different tank! Love it. I learn so much from your videos and get so inspired. My cats also love your channel. Mostly when the fish swim back and forth, lol, but also occasionally things like dropping in those mini cone things. 😆😻
I’m addicted to shrimp. I only have 2 now and think one is gravid. I’m moving the fish to a new tank and want to have one tank just for shrimp. I’m excited to get it started!
Good stuff mate 👌🏼 I saw these little cups once, in an aquascaped tank looked a bit mad like but was different and I like it 😙🤌🏼 shrimp are looking great aswell 🙌🏼

Very lord of the rings Shire looking to me after the moss balls are put in. Love it!
MD you should glue moss bolls to the little plant bubble holders you got there it would look great!
Very contemporary with the bubble designs. They’re like the fish version of the hanging gardens of Babylon!
Definitely reminds me of Avatar. Really cool and different. Very neat shrimp, too.
I've actually used these before just a couple though. They look great in this grouping. Another awesome scape. 😄🍀😄🍀😄🍀😄🍀😄🍀💞
How unique, your tanks are the best I’ve watched. I check everyday for a new video, thank you.
Good effort
This looks great MD! Loving all the wee planters. Can't wait to start my neo tank 🦐🐌
those little shrimpers are living there best life
This Shrimp tank looks awesome!
Sorry about the poorly finger, please show us an update as to how the cups look once filled out. Love what you do.
I love this tank! You've created a shrimpy fantasy world!
asome tank, love those transparent pots... also, if u boil the botanicals for 5 minutes , it will sink and prevent any contaminations. good vibesfrom CDMX
Love watching your videos and it has inspired me to do my first planted aquarium and get some cherry shrimp, the moss balls will sink you just need to gently squeeze them in the water to get the excess air out.
Super cool shrimp set up. Has a modern feel to it.
Another perfect ending of footage of the tank
Love the whole new look of this setup for shrimp and definitely want to try it!! Will be ordering some of those bowls for sure!! Thank you MD!
Those bubble planters are super cool, didn't even know they existed! Might have to try them out.
original use for superglue is medical to be used in conjunction with butterfly stiches to "glue" cuts closed.
(they used it on my daughters forehead when she cut it open)
Dude, you’re killing me lol! Another awesome tank full of ideas and ways to spend more money on this crazy hobby!!! Avatar Shrimp! ❤️
Hey MD, love your videos. Just wanted to say if you boil your botanicals in water it will clean them and make them float to the bottom. Just so you don’t have to glue pebbles to them!
I wonder how much more epic it would look with a black background!
The snail just floating around the top at the end. Too cute. The snails always end up stealing the show. IMO
Love, Love, Love this!! What a unique, new exciting look for a shrimp tank!! Thanks for sharing, I'm your new biggest fan 🙂
