    Something I noticed is the price is actually the same as it has been in the past but today they claim it was actually higher and they “marked it down” but in reality it was never that higher price to begin with.
    I wouldn’t have noticed if these items weren’t already in my wish list and I have kept an eye on them

    • @SamSolasdonSaol

      Yep. Yep. Shenanigans.

    • @VanG520
      @VanG520 Месяц назад +1

      I noticed that too. I have a bunch of things in my saved for later list that I've been keeping an eye on for over a year, and they change the price right before Prime day to make it look like it was high, then they put it back to regular price and it shows that it was a certain percentage off. So I check camelcamelcamel if I'm not sure to check the price history.

    • @PinkGrammarGirl

      Same! Something I have been eyeing for half a year went up just to say it was X% off when I knew that original price by heart.

    This past spring, we used the exact moving bags you linked (blue, handle strapping goes all down the sides and underneath the bag) and found them so handy. They definitely seemed stronger than the ones where the handles are just sewn at the top. Fair warning, though, the color will come off if scuffed, revealing white meshy plastic fabric.

    • @VanG520
      @VanG520 Месяц назад +4

      Yup. They just lower the price to the regular price it's always been so it shows that it's a certain percentage off, so it "looks" like a deal. The sellers are greedy.

  • @candacethegreat
    @candacethegreat Месяц назад +5

    I feel like a lot of the "prime deals" are just where they hyper inflate the prices so they can give you a deal. Been seeing it all day

  • @mingle27
    @mingle27 Месяц назад +5

    Girl I completely agree with you about prime day. Years ago, like at least 5 years ago it was totally worth it. Now it's not. Maybe if you're looking for something that is an Amazon brand but I know that I just watched prices get jacked up to only be taken down and it's not worth it. I've been watching specifically all the items on my wish list and in my cart all week. The items that I actually left in my cart overnight went up anywhere from between 5 to 35%. Some of them don't even have any deals so if you were to just buy it today or tomorrow you're going to be paying more than you would have earlier in the week or a couple weeks ago. Not worth it

    I use the everlivin' snotballs out of my chopper, as featured at #3, as purchased by me way back in March, and I highly recommend it. My advice is to be very, very mindful/careful with all the blades. They are VERY sharp, and that moment of mind wander and you get zinged. Mine is slightly different than the one currently featured in the ad (even if Amazon states I bought it in March). This incarnation has a holder for some of the attachments. Mine did not. That is super helpful in cutting down on possible lacerations. But man, I have arthritis and this is a huge part of why I can still cook as much as I do. SUPER helpful.
